Nintendo 3DS - best price? Game suggestions?

DD just turned 9 and would like a DS for X-Mas. She's never had any type of gaming system besides a leapster and Wii.

Sunday's ads show Target has them for $169 PLUS a $25 gift card.

Should I jump on this deal? Any better ones out there?

Also, any game suggestions?

Target deal is the best deal right now.

As far as games, my girls like any that involve caring for pets. We have DS (not 3DS) so I'm not familiar w/ any of the newer games.

Seems like the best deal to me, I just bought one at Best Buy and paid $169 with no gift card. As for games, my son is a fan of the Mario games and I know Mario Kart comes out in Nov.
