Can you tell me if this is a sit down restaurant with counter service to go too?

Is this the place that has some seating outside with some pretty gardens? I am mixing this up with another place?

If anyone could clarify, I'd appreciate it, thanks :)

It almost sounds like you are talking about Yakitori in the Japanese Pavillion.

The CS restaurant in the China Pavillion is called Lotus Blossom Cafe and has covered outdoor seating. The TS restaurant (Nine Dragons) is all indoors and is adjacent (shares the bathroom).

We haven't tried Nine Dragons, but we were not impressed with Lotus Blossom Cafe. Yakitori is very good, though.

I don't think Nine Dragons has any outside seating.

We ate there for the first time last month and it was really good. :thumbsup2

We loved dinner at Nine Dragons last June. Turned out to be the best meal we had. I don't believe they have any outside seating. The inside is very large.

I can't speak to dinner but we had lunch at Nine Dragons last year.

I come from Jersey and don't know how the quality of our Chinese food ranks with the rest of the country....but we thought it was really good. A little pricey (but hey it's Epcot and it was beautiful).

My boys (5 an 7 at the time) LOVED it....they had tempora and some combo things. I can't remember what I ate but I remember that we all liked it.

Enjoy your trip!

Sesame Chicken is the best ever! Our kids (19 and 16) make us go at least once on each trip, and one trip we ended up there twice in 4 days!

Enjoy....

We just had lunch there on Saturday. It has become our "last meal at Disney" before we leave everytime now. You can get in and out of there quickly and we have never had to wait to be seated. We also love the Honey Sesame Chicken, we usually order four orders and they say "wouldn't you like to try something else" and we always shake our head no and smile.

As with most restraurants at EPCOT, China has 2 places. A sit down, 9 dragons, and a fast food type (near the back) Lotus something. We have added 9 dragons to our must do list now. While the servings are not large compared to our Chinese restraurants at home, they are very good. The appetizers are smaller than home too. They have best hot and sour soup we have ever had. Their pot stickers (dumplings are very good also). Sometimes we stop by for soup, appetizers and share an entree. While we are not full when we leave, we find it ties us over. The last trip we did the lunch for 2 and added the dumplings. Seems like alot of food, but it was enough for us, and I am not a big eater. Keep in mind that the lunch for 2 or 4 has entrees listed. We find that if you ask, they will let you change the selection they have listed (if the price is comparable). Of course, I was taken aback when I saw they charge for tea. Something no Chinese restraurant we go to ever does. I thought that was a little nickel and diming, but nevertheless, we still go back.
