::wizard: Since our ADR at Teppan Edo for 8/21 is now useless, we made an ADR at Nine Dragons. Can anyone give us suggestions for what to order there? We aren't fans of duck or beef.

Chicken? :lmao: :lmao:

Sorry, couldn't resist. Even though I've eaten there several times, I don't remember what I ate! Food was OK, but not memorable.

I dont remember anything except that the hot/sour soup was the best I have ever had.

Either the General Tso's Chicken or the Honey Sesame Chicken. Both are very good. The GTC is not as spicy as what I usually get at Chinese restaurants, in case you don't like your food really spicy. The HSC is not spicy at all.

go for the sampler for two and try the gen'ls chicken and the sweet/sour pork... or the stirfried shrimp if you like shrimp...

this is dh's #1 favorite restaurant and personally we're glad it's not too popular!! LOL!

The Honey Sesame Chicken is absolutely delicious. We get it every time we are there!

Have people generally had good experiences at Nine Dragons? DW and I have an ADR there in November, but I'm a little concerned, as I've seen some less than favorable reviews out there.

:wizard: If you are on the DDP, is soup considered your appetizer? Can you order an appetizer and then pay OOP for the soup? Everyone seems to agree that the soup was amazing but I don't know if I want that for my appetizer:confused3

We ate there Friday before last, I thought it was very good, albeit expensive for Chinese. The sesame chicken was goo, my personal favorite was the shrimp and vegetables since it had the best veggies and a flavorful brown sauce that was not overly spicey.

We ordered one other dish, can't remember, sorry, it was ok, and the fried rice which had a lot of meat and we loved.

Best part: we were seated close to the windows and saw the fireworks while we ate.

Here's the menu, take a look.

We've gone every trip since our honeymoon and really love Nine Dragons. I always get the wonton soup but try to make myself order a different entree. I agree with an earlier poster that the sampler would be a great choice and you wouldn't have to get the beef option.
