We have an ADR for Nine Dragons at the China pavilion in Epcot
Code:
. I can't find anything on the boards about it. Does anyone have any comments or recommendations? Thanks!

Yes i do! We ate there on a whim during our HM in March, and had never been there before..we had a great time. The food was delicious and the service was rather good. We did not have ADR, we just walked in around 8pm and were seated right away. We had their version of General Tso's Chicken which was soooo good. And we had the Ice Cream Sampler for dessert. We are definitely going back next time :thumbsup2

We eat there last year and had the sweat and sour pork it was great we thought the pork might be dry but it wasnt i recomend that if stiil on the menu. They also had the pot sticker they served in there fast food dont know if you ever had them but they are a good starter.

On these boards you will hear many people put down Nine Dragons, saying it is no better than PF Changs or your local fast food chinese restaurant but they are wrong! Last year we had a bad experience at Boma (my bro is Deathly allergic to Tree Nuts and they were not very accomadating) so we left and went on a search for somewhere else to eat. While in Epcot my father reccommended that we try 9 Dragons. My dad told them what had happened and they took us straight in before a whole waiting room of people. I ordered the Zhi Zhang(sp?) Noodles, which were amazing, the rest of my family got Fried Rice, also very good. We had an amazing server and that was very friendly. We enjoyed the meal so much that we made another ressie for later on in the trip. We had another amazing meal (this time lunch). I had the Canton Pepper Beef (tender and tasty!), my brother and dad had Kung Pao Chicken (Amazing), my sis had the honey orange chicken (all white meat and crispy), finally my mom had the shrimp and noodles (another amazing dish). I hope this helps :thumbsup2

I didnt want to go but we didnt make our Beirgarten ADR b/c DH had a headache so my DS took it upon himself to call dining and see what was open when she mentioned ND he jumped on it, since he loves Chinese, I wasnt thrilled since we can eat chinese any time but I was grateful and proud my DS16 took it upon himself, so we met them back at Epcot and WOW, the meal was great! I had the general tso, it was the best general tso ever! DH and DD had shrimp fried rice, it was a big bowl, DS had steak and shrimp and raved about it afterwards he had red bean ice cream which he also enjoyed. So ND really suprised us, would defantely go back!

Great, thanks guys! I was looking for something different while we're in Epcot but not too exotic since we have little ones. It looks like we'll enjoy this choice!

OOOHHHHH !!! :crazy2: (I think you mean SWEET and sour pork.)

We had the honey chicken in April and it was the best I've ever eaten. Their desserts leave much to be desired, however.

Love reading these! I LOVE chinese food, but kind of figured we could get it anywhere, I think we are going for it! :woohoo:

Yes sorry I did mean sweet and sour and the honey chicken is the best those to are my favorite.

I've enjoyed it a couple of times, but didn't find it good enough to be a "Must Do".

We just had dinner there Thursday night. I didn't want to go, but DH really wanted it...I was pleasantly surprised! It was very good! The service was outstanding! DH had the pepper beef and liked it a lot. I had some dish that had shrimp in a sweet spicy sauce on one half of the plate and a stir fry chicken with vegetables on the other. It was really good. Kids both had the chicken that they dipped in the sweet sauce and they loved it. The red bean ice cream, caramel ginger ice cream and ginger cake were all yummy!
So 4 :thumbsup2 from us.
