Just booked last minute trip for 1st week of May, so pretty much slim-pickings for TS in EPCOT except for Nine Dragons which has just about any time available. I know that it and Via Napali seem to be always put down by those that say they can get better Chinese and Real pizza better where they live, but is it that bad?

Same question but for kussina on the boardwalk. Menu looks interesting. Via Napoli is better then going to Papa Ginos or Dominos or anyplace like that.

We really like Nine Dragons, we couldnt make one of our Adrs last min so we called dining to see what was available and ND was one, DS17 loves chinese food so he made the ADR I wasnt thrilled but we were all very impressed with the food!

I had General Tso chicken and it was a generous portion and the best Ive ever had, it was spicy with a hint of sweet which I like, most places here at home have it mostly sticky sweet.

My DS17 got steak and shrimp and really liked it while DH and DD got the fried rice with shrimp, it was good but to me average..Everything else was amazing!

We like it. It's not 'better' than the good Chinese places we have around here, but it's better than the not so good ones.:thumbsup2

I loved Nine Dragons! I got a honey chicken dish. It was fabulous. DH got General's chicken and didn't care for it.

My DH likes his sweet which is probably why he didn't much care for it. Also, our DD was being horrible during the meal so that probably affected his opinion of it. LOL

I want to go back someday. On our Epcot day this trip we are eating lunch at Le Celier and dinner at Cape May Cafe. Maybe next trip we'll go back to Nine Dragons.

we don't like it..... WE LOVE IT!

it's our hidden gem in the world showcase :)

we really enjoy it there no crowds good food and the ginger ice cream is the best ! you must try the ginger ice cream, we usually do a lunch when we dine there.:thumbsup2

DH wanted to eat there this past Aug but I didn't want to.
DH could eat bad Chinese food out of a sneaker and be happy. :confused3
I have a wonderful place here at home that I am in LOVE with..:lovestruc so in my mind nothing can compare.
But......HOT August afternoon + WICKED thunderstorms + 4 hungry people =
walk in at Nine Dragons. ;)

I will admit I was pleasantly surprised! The service was excellent and the food was really good. Even our kiddos liked their meals. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again. :)

DH and I have eaten at 9 Dragons twice and both times we've loved it. I highly recommend the sweet & sour pork with the spinach pasta.

We have better Chinese food where we live so for us it is just an "ok" WS restaurant.

its surprising that so many people have a bad opinion of nine dragons till they actually try it here then end up really liking it!:thumbsup2

We snagged it for dinner last June since we didn't have an ADR and were pleasantly surprised. We got there just before Illuminations started and they gave us a great seat by the window so we had an excellent view. We did feel a little rushed, I think we were their last table of the night so they were trying to close up. We all enjoyed the food a lot though!

It's a must do for us every trip. It's not the absolute best Chinese food ever, but it's pretty good. My DH and I are going this summer (his order of preference at Epcot is Le Cellier followed by Nine Dragons). My mom really likes it, too. The 3 of us each like different items, too, so it's not like we picked the one good dish.

On our last visit at lunchtime, they seated parties at adjacent tables rather than scattering arrivals around the dining room. Now, many WS restaurants have tight seating arrangements, but it seemed strange to be in a cluster of occupied tables when half the room was empty. This is understandable at a place like Biergarten or Teppen Edo, not so much here.

It didn't help that one of those parties was a group of over a dozen kids with just one poor adult chaperone.

As to the food, it's ok, but there are so many better choices elsewhere.
