Nikon D700 owners...which remote release

I'm looking at buying a remote shutter release before our December trip and I'm trying to decide on which to get for my D700. I've focused mainly on portrait work up until now and haven't really needed a release. I would love to hear which releases everyone is using.

I just use a really cheap 3rd party remote cord I've had for a while. It's a simple button that also slides to lock in the down position. I think it was $10 or less at B&H.

I use an MC-30 when I need bulb mode- for regular tripod shooting I isually just use the self timer.
