Good Saturday morning,
The wife landed a good deal here through Priceline, about $56/night. We are heading to Disney next month with some of her family and were excited to find this! I realize it's an older place but hopefully the renovations in '99 have helped. I have heard good things about the 50's restaurant there on the premises. Any other thoughts, warnings, etc would be much appreciated!! How effective is the shuttle service to the parks?? Thanks....

Jeff

I would check tripadvsior.com for more reviews on the hotel. I would rent a car if I was staying offsite for conienvce.

If you do a search on here you'll find several threads. I and my wife like the hotel and we planned to return to it in April , but found a good deal on Cypress Pointe. I priced it through the Holiday Inn website for the week following Easter at 53.00 a night so might be worth looking around a bit for a better rate?

I am staying there for 5 nights at the end of this week:Pinkbounc !! Anyhow, I too got it through priceline, but for $27.00 a night. I actually was alittle shocked at the price you got it for. I thought I got burned because I see a lot of people getting it for $24-25 a night. Just be sure to read all of biddingfortravel.com when using priceline, they'll be sure to help you get the most for your dollar.

Anyhow, there are really mixed reviews about this property. Actually here on the Dis board-- I found almost every hotel is mixed. You have the lovers and the haters. Personally, I want clean, safe, and modern. As long as it's those things I'm okay. Supposedly some of the rooms were recently remodeled according to tripadvisor. These are the one's in the back (???) They are supposed to be very accomodating even to priceline customers. So, if I don't like the room I get, I'm gonna ask again. Nicely of course.

I will be posting my own review once I get home.
