So after a DELICIOUS meal at 'Ohana, which hopefully we will have room for after a day of Food and Wine, we are going to hop on the monorail and head to....

I am SOOOO excited to attend this party again. We had such a great time the first time. The parade is the most amazing thing! I mean, c'mon! They HM ballroom dancers?!

And the Villians Mix and Mingle was really cool! Especially when the Queen of Hearts came down and tried to hump Tom!

And the rest of the night will be spent trick-or-treating, meeting rare characters, and riding BTMRR without a long line! That night, I should fall asleep humming Boo To You.....

I'm so sad to see your neighborhood, it reminds me so much of my Grandma's town a few years ago-it is heartbreaking and they are still recovering. I am relieved you and Tom are okay and that tree in your front yard stayed standing!!!!!

Oh my gosh, those trees that went down are massive. That was one serious storm. I'm glad you and your family are safe.

Your days sound fun! 5 am wake up for the race...well, it's incentive to do this at Disneyworld Do you actually run through the parks? I'm not really familiar with the races they have

Yeah, it's very sad...but they are working very hard to make things better. Hopefully FEMA will come through with some funds for the people whose houses were damaged.

Well the actual 1/2 marathon runs through all the parks but I am only doing the 5K. Last year it was in the MK which I was hoping for again this year but it's not...it's in the AK. I still think that will be fun!

Glad everything is okay! We got really lucky because we are near Boston and the eastern part of the state didn't get it too bad. I know some neighborhoods in surrounding cities lost power, but we were lucky enough not to. A DIS friend that lives in Rhode Island has been without power since yesterday morning and they have no idea when they'll have it back

Your sleepover looks like so much fun! Emma is adorable!

Hope your friend got her power back. All around me was out up until yesterday.

I'm going to Disney World THIS MONTH!!!


I just got a sinking feeling that I am soooo not ready!! Usually we got in the summer and as soon as school gets out I start making packing lists and doing some shopping for travel size things, etc. Now with just over 3 weeks to go, I have done NOTHING!

And with school starting on Tuesday, I don't know what I"m going to have time to start. Maybe this weekend, I'll at least start making lists....

I know how you feel. We started this past week, but I am so nervous that I will never get ready for Disney. I have no idea when to pack especially since the kids don't know we are going. I still have to buy my son a costume too. So much to do!

YIPPEEEEE!!!! It's almost here!! It is the only thing that makes the end of summer ok- we are that much closer to another Disney trip!

We are going for Teachers convention- but only 5 nights this year- Too much homework missed for a Freshman and 7th grader, I think, if we went for longer (we really paid the price last year taking a full week). But, NEXT year- watch out!! Presidential Election means they'll only miss 2 days if we go for 10 nights!
