I'm considering buying a pair of Nike frees to wear in the park during my October trip. Whose worn these in the park/did they work well for you?!

I didn't wear them in the park but I own a pair. Anything with a softer top is an A+ for me. I wore gowalks and my frees would be my other pair to bring if I had had them when I went. So I would say go for it!

The soft top really helps prevent blisters IMO. Shoes that are too structured rub on me a lot when I wear them ALL day, even if they're well broken in. And they're light which is excellent, foot fatigue happens much faster for me when I feel like I'm carrying around the shoes I'm wearing like they're weights strapped to my feet. The lighter the better.

I bought a pair for each of us on our last trip in April and they were awesome! No blisters no complaints from the kids and we did 7 straight days if disney. I highly recommend them

Suggest that you buy a pair now and wear them all day. If they work for that, then they will work for you at DL. In the end, its only your feet that make the difference. What worked for somebody else's feet doesn't mean it will work for yours.
