We got FP+ for Fantasmic last week and we picked it up around 2pm. Illuminations and Wishes were gone during our whole stay. The viewing area for Illuminations is in the central plaza area at the entrance of the WS between the two stores. It is where we have always sat, but not this time. Very disappointing.

Robo, what is the headache surrounding the Illuminations FP area? We have it booked for mid August and it will be our first time seeing it up close. We normally watch from the walkway into WS.

There is no "seating" for IllumiNations FP+.

They book far too many guests in far to small a space.
And, if the wind is blowing toward the FP+ area, fireworks smoke and cinder fallout can ruin the entire experience.

There are simply SO MANY great places to see IllumiNations, the negatives of using a FP+ for viewing (discussed in this and other threads) can easily outweigh the positives.

That's what I thought. Just wanted to make sure since the FP+ is new since the last time I went let alone I always just found a spot to view the show.
