Hi All,

My son and I have been so looking forward to seeing this. It was released on the 20th and I was ready to go that night. The only problem is the closest theater that is playing it is 100 mile away!! Its not like I live in a rural area (20 minutes from Richmond VA) I would think that Disney would have worked on this being a wider release. Has anyone seen this yet? I would love to hear a review.

There is only ONE theatre near me playing this - and I think I have 6 or 7 or even 8 I could choose from. I'm disappointed, too - I thought a lot more theatres would show it. I'm going to try to see it this weekend. It will probably be packed, with it being the weekend before Halloween.

I live just outside of Denver and there is only one theater in the area showing it and another in Colorado Springs. I even checked for NYC just out of curiousity and it looks like there are only two theaters in Manhattan showing it, though there are a bunch in Brooklyn. I keep hoping the number of theaters will increase, but I wonder if there is some sort of technology the theaters need, so it can only be shown in newer ones.

Hi, We went to see NBC in 3D on 10/24. It was good, no 3D gags added into the movie. My DS8 was disappointed, he thought there would be the usual 3D gags and added scenes, we all knew it was the same movie before going, he just had expectations. It was cool to see it in the theater. We drove 45 minutes to see it. We are BIG NBC fans. Love that movie. If you can get over to see it, I would.

i saw it this past sunday. i loved it. it looks so much more "real" in 3d. very cool. i have to say, i love the geeky 3d glasses you get. :cool1:

Its pretty cool but I wouldn't drive 100 miles to see it.

Keep in mind that the theatre itself has to have 3-D technology, it isn't Disney thats keeping it out of some theatres. There was a huge arcticle about 3-D movies after the release of Chicken Little that talked about the number of theatres that currently had the technology and the number that were already planned to install it within the next couple of years.

Heck, I had wanted to take the sweetpea and my nephews to see it last weekend and was all ready to head to DTD to watch it. But to my surprise, it wasn't even playing there. It was only playing at one theater within driving distance and that place is run so ghetto like I refuse to go there.
