Nightmare Before Christmas 3D

THe 3D version of Nightmare Before Christmas is supposed to be coming out in October...has anyone heard anything about any marketing plans for the film (fast food tie-ins, toys, clothes, etc.)? You'd think I already owned enough NBC stuff but I want MORE and I'm hoping there will be a ton of new stuff out with the re-release. Any thoughts on how much of a marketing campaing to expect?

That is a good question, however I have no idea what the answer is, ever since 1999 Disney has released a whole slew of product to sell for the movie every Halloween, I do not anticipate anything special for this release except with the exception that I imagine there will be Disney Soda Fountain pins and clothing and probably promotional buttons. Last year the El Capitain did the 12 days of Nightmare where they showed the film for 12 days in October, they did a promotional button every night, and there were pins and clothing sold in the store, so I would expect the same this year.

Not sure what I was looking for that was new or different...I guess we're lucky that NBC has a good seasonal market for new items each year. I was at the World of Disney in NYC last year the day before they were setting up the huge Halloween display and the castmember was so sweet because I had asked if they had anything and the entire storeroom was full but they couldn't let me get my grubby paws on any of it! I wasn't able to get back but have a definite October visit planned this year (and hoping there may be a pin/memorabilia event for the 3D release at the store like there was for Pirates in July). I'm a newbie NBC collector (less than 2 years) but have managed to outfit our downstairs quite nicely thanks to Disneyshopping and ebay
