Hi
just read in a fb page that some get turn away from show
se have early seating so shows are after dinner how is that possible ?
id be suite dissapointed if we couldn’t see the shows as this will be my grandkids first cruise

any ideas if this is right ?

Shows are first come first serve. Yes they can fill if you arrive too close to start time. Just show up 30 mins early and you will be fine. There is plenty time if you head there shortly after dinner, but some squeeze in an activity like trivia or character photos and then you are cutting it close.

IME, the primary reason shows fill completely is people going to both shows in a night and doing something other than an MDR for dinner.
 
That happend during COVID restrictions when ever other row was kept open. That has ended based on recent posts. Masks are still required.

Maybe, but I remember in 2019 being shut out of a couple shows when I showed up 10/15 mins before. You live you learn. Main dining is more popular than late so the masses from early dining all descend on the second show.

I just cruised on the Fantasy this past week. There was ample seating at the shows on both nights that I attended shows. They never turned anyone away. People being turned away is possible, but more rare than it was when they were enforcing distancing in the theater before this month. Now there is no distancing, so there is more room in the theatre.
