Night-time Parade?

I've done a lot of research but I'm confused as to why there is no longer a night time parade in the Magic Kingdom? I remembered Spectromagic to be the highlight of my trip 20 years ago!

Can someone please explain why they no longer do it and if anyone thinks it will ever return?

Also the Main Street Electrical Parade which I never got to see. The night time parades were an essential part of a Disney trip.

I understand it's expensive but it's been a staple part of a Disney trip for millions of people for decades. I guess those in charge know we will still go because we still love it! Do any of the other Disney parks still have a night parade? Maybe I need to spend my $$$ elsewhere to get the full experience.

There are night time parades at the paid MK Parties (Halloween and Christmas), but all other parades are gone besides the MK afternoon parade.

Parades were there to draw people in... the parks are overcrowded now so no need to offer them. Lot's of things have/are going away since Disney doesn't have to offer them to get people to come.
