Night of joy..Who's going and which night?

I was just wondering who was going to the Night of Joy and which night are you going? We are only going on Friday night. This is our first trip alone in 17 years! Can't wait! Hope to see some of you there

Hi chicago, nice weather we are having for a change! Greetings from the south.

NOJ: Have you been before? Hope you are a totally CRAZY, fan for this kind of music cause you will enjoy the enormous crowd that will be present. It was the largest amount of teenagers I have ever seen gathered at wdw, at one time, a complete nuthouse. (IMHO = we ran far far away). I will say, we are not big fans of this type of music, just thought it would be interesting to go. We where very wrong and ran screaming into the nite. Far away. Also I believe, I am way too old for the group that was in the mk that nite. (yikees).

Hopefully, it is better supervised now? Or you fit into this group better? So that you will enjoy it. It seemed to be set up pretty cool, and lots of stages and things going on. Our problems stemmed from the mass crowd.

Have a great "couple's" trip!!! Adult only trips to wdw are totally underated. Take in from someone unable to have kids.

We are going, there are 5 of us!!!!!!!

We are going both nights the 9th and the 10th, we all think the 9th has the better line up! It is going to be sooooooo awesome!

Four of us (2 adults, 2 kids) are going both nights. Last year, it wasn't that crowded, but it was right around the hurricanes.

My quiet, petite, beautiful (in my unbiased opinion) is excited to see Audio Adrenaline. She doesn't look like a rocker, but appearances can be deceiving.

Hi from Peoria! there's a group of us going.5 to be exact, Mom's with no kids!!!! It's our Mom's gone wild trip!!! Can't wait! This is our first time for the concert.

We have never been before. My DH loves this kind of music. He likes Mercy Me. The group SuperChic(k) is from our church. I don't mind the teenage crowd, I have 3(teenage girls) of my own. This is our first trip alone in 17 years. Crowds or not I'm gonna love just getting away! And YES!, I love the weather we are having in Chicago. For all the Chicago Disers.... Whereand when are you flying? We are on SW, out of Midway. Hope to see some of you!

I am w/ you .... we went once before and my husband calls 'Night of Joy' ... "Night of the wild animals". We were shocked to see so many teens running around like crazy. They were trying to tip over the logs and hopping on and off to different logs on splash mountain.
Cast members commenting to us that they felt its one of the worse days of the year to work. This is a Christian Music concert???
Maybe it has improved since we went.

Going Friday Night. 1 or 2 adults. Don't know if husband will go with me or stay at hotel as he doesn't like this type of Christian music. More of an old gospel fellow.

My wife and I have tickets for both nights, and have never been. I'm thrilled to see CeCe Winans. Other than that, I'm not sure what to expect!

I guess if this is suppose to be a slow time, and if everyone is in Magic Kingdom then the rest of the parks will be empty! Thats good news for everyone else! I'm not much of a fan of this music, but my DH is. I like Mercy Me and thats about it and I only know 1 song from them... "I Can Only Imagine".

My family is going on fri pm. I've heard all of the horror stories about the wild teens, but am hoping for the best. I guess I'm getting old; the fri lineup appealed to me more. I am hoping that the sat lineup appeals to the teen groups better! We are going with a good attitude and planning to have a great time, whatever the conditions.
