Has anyone ever been to the Night of Joy? How are the crowds? We were hoping for really light crowds but I've read that this event brings in a lot of people. We don't want to go for the actual event. Just wondering if it is busier than usual for this time of year. THI.

If you aren't interested in attending the actual events then you shouldn't have too much to worry about crowd wise. It does bring in a lot of people but it's mostly Florida churches/youth groups who most likely won't be coming for the entire weekend or even an entire day. School is in session at that time so that's a big factor. Unless the entire group wants to pay 50.00 for a few hours at another theme park or the entire group is passholders the only park they can get into with their ticket is the Magic Kingdom and that's not until after 4pm. Even the actual event won't be any more crowded than any other special ticket event like MVMCP. It just seems crowded because of the congestion at the concert stages. It really shouldn't be any more crowded than it normally is at that time of the year. I know my youth group usually left Tampa around 5pm and got there just in time for the event and drove back when it was over. :)

Thanks Michelle! That was the response I was looking for! I hope the crowds are light during the day.
