Nick vs. Omni - which one?

We are going in August for 5 days pre-DCL. It will be HOT so we want a great hotel pool. We are 10 people, extended family with 5 kids aged 10 and under.

Our kids love nickelodeon, so that appeal is obvious, but the Omni looks like a nicer hotel.

Any thoughts one way or the other?

I would definitely stay at the Omni - we found it absolutely fantastic !

What really impressed us was firstly, how kids orientated they were with goodie bags on arrival, the kids club and the kids activities. And second the breakfast - make sure this is included in your package as its pricey otherwise, wonderful quality of food - best in Orlando !

We rate this place better than Disney for facilities , food and customer service.
