Spin off from the other thread. What nick names do you have for your children?

We mostly call them Baby Boy. If we are yelling upstairs it is Tiny Small Children. They are 16 and we think it is funny.

I do call one of my sons Bryce is Nice. I keep hoping if I call him that long enough it will sink in!:rotfl: He had a mean streak as a toddler.

We call DD 'BC'. She's an only child so we always reference her specifically when DH and I are talking. When we're talking about the cats we say 'the children'.

We call DD10 Lilo, DS Bubbaroo, and DD6 Baby Pig (she was obsessed with Peppa Pig when she was little and even oinked when she wanted our attention). Collectively, I call them short people which isn't going to work for much longer since DD10 is almost as tall as me.

I call my son (almost 12) pretty much whatever comes out of my mouth. Its not one name as I have several (hence, what ever comes out).

Bub, bud, buddy, schlep, schelppy, squib, squibby, c'mon man (usually when he does something knuckle-headed), boo, Timoteo (Spanish for Tim, his name), the boy, child, and when he really acts up and I talk to my wife about him - YOUR son.

DD1 was Fuzzy Bunny. She toted around this old bunny stuffed animal that she inherited from her father and it was very.....well loved.

DD2 is my Andi Pandy Banana Berry. Don't ask me where that came from...I just started calling her it one day. DH called her Munchkin.

DS is my Bug or Baby Bear. Well, not any longer---he has made it clear that 11 year old boys do NOT get nicknames from mommy. :(

My daughter is named Margaret.

I usually call her Margaret but sometimes I call her "Little," "Angel," or "Greta."

I call my boys "Bunny" or "Wabbit" because we have a houseful of rabbits, including them! They're teenagers and still let me do it, as long as I don't say it in front of their friends!

D17 is Sweet Pea sometimes she is "Data" (she's very logical) or "Monk"

and

DS15 is Little Man (even though he is 6 inches taller than I am these days :rotfl: )

DS is Buddy, DD is Baby Girl (still, even though she is 16).

Both together they are younglings, offspring, and young children (as in "excuse me young children...who forgot to put away their dishes?") :goodvibes

Dd#1. I call her a shortened version of her name or Doll.
Dd#2. Same as my other dd.
Ds has been Bud, budnik, the boy, shortened version first name-middle namem. They are called child as well.

Baby doll, baby girl, and sometimes Grape (her name is Grace)

Older daughter Danielle is Yellie. I think her younger sister first came up with it and it stuck.

Younger daughter Alyssa is now Liz. Used to be Lizzie (as in Borden) when she was much younger. She would swing toys and stuff around like she was gonna give someone 40 whacks.

As far as I know, these are still private nicknames. No one else except the four of us, including DW, use them.

We called our DD Sassafras or Sass until her little brother was born. Then we started calling her Sissy. Her grandma has always called her Sweetie or Sweetie Girl. DS is called Buddy, Bud or Buddy-Bud.

My daughter is Lolly, Angel, and or Lady Jane.

My son is Goot or Kev, he just isn't the type to take to nicknames.

I have an assortment for DS. Dude, Bud, Honey Bear, Pedro, Blue Hopper, goofball, grumpy pants, sunshine, little man, baby boy-- the list goes on and on, lol

Older daughter is Doodle, often combined with her name into Camadoodle. Younger daughter used to be Teacup (we used to joke her baby butt could fit in a teacup), but now I usually use sweetie.

We have a 12 DS and 13 DD (13 months apart). I call them Chip and Dale, the monkeys, the munks (as in chipmunks), and Flippy and Dippy.

Separately, DD is Sarah Bear. Always has been.
DS is Little Man, Jake Jake, and Jacob Alligator.

When talking about him, I call my oldest (my son) "the big one." As in, "when is the big one coming home?" When talking TO him, I usually call him "Babe."

When he was three and his sister was born, someone asked him her name. He said "Isabooky." (Her name is Isabelle.) It kind of stuck. She's 18 now and I still call her "Booky" which sometimes morphs into "Boop" or "Boops" or "Boopygirl."

Lately, I've started calling them Thing one and Thing two!
