The Nick Hotel is a ton of fun and a definite place to stay when visiting Orlando. Kids absolutely love it and you can even save money by spending days at the hotel instead of paying to go to the theme parks.
The rooms are very spacious and have a decent sized and equipped kitchenette. The particular room my family and I stayed in was a Jimmy Neutron theme, which my son loved. There was a separate room with bunk beds, a TV, and Playstation hooked up for my son. The master bedroom was also a separate room with a King sized bed, a nice desk, large closet, and a TV. The living area had a really comfy couch, a nice chair, a table with chairs and a flat screen TV. Overall the rooms are definitely above average.
The pools are great. Especially the pool with water slides and water jets squirting everywhere. Each day they have a group "sliming" which is also a lot of fun.
Breakfast was delicious and very afforadable. We took advantage of their onsite character breakfast where we met Dora, Diego, Spongebob, and Patrick. It was a lot of fun and I definitely think we got more bang for our buck here rather than a breakfast at one of the parks. These characters spent time with our family and I've never seen my son so happy.
Studio Nick is also a great time. Our family went to see the Studio Nick show one of the nights of our stay. The cast was really fun and got the entire audience into the action. I love shows where you actually feel you're part of the whole experience, and I feel like this hotel really exemplifies that.
The Nick Hotel is a really great place to stay and we can't wait to go back again! The staff is awesome, the theming is fun, and my son had the time of his life. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your next family trip to Orlando.
