Nick hotel- age 4 and 7 good age?

I think age 4 and 7 are good but after paying closer attention to the TV adds, etc. it seems they show only ages 9-16?

What do you think??

bump-- I am planning a three day stay at Nick hotel in late August. Hoping for some replies on hotel

I think age 4 and 7 are the perfect age for nick. We have been there twice. Once when it was HolidayInn Family Suites and once when Nick just opened. My boys were 5 and 9 at the time. We are going again memorial day weekend.

It's perfect. We have been there 2x and my youngest was 6 at the time but there are plenty of kids younger than that. They have a seperate "splash" play area with mini slides for the little ones that don't meet size requirements on the water tower. There is a lifeguard at every slide on the tower to double check. They will have a ball. For the best pool area, ask for a room on the lagoon side. That is where the tower is and most of the "stuff" like mini golf, a bigger sprayground, etc. Enjoy!!

those are good ages for nick hotel. we were there when kids were 5,6 and 10.and also when it was holiday inn when kids were 2,4,8. they had a blast. it can get a bit crowded, but the kids did not mind at all!!! they have zero entry for the younger ones and water slides etc. lots to do for the kids. would not reccomend the restaurant though - not very good. and the hook that kids eat free still is not worth it imo. last time i was there they had an onsite pizza hut where kids ate free - cant go wrong with pizza hut and kids.

Speaking of the pizza hut there, does anyone know if I bring my coupons from home (OH) can I use them at restaurants in FL? Also my kids get those "book it's" do they do that down there? Just wondered if I could bring 'em to use.

I also think that the kids eat free program has changed. I think I read that now you have to be under 5 to eat for free.

Would you say that there's enough to do there with the pool and slides to not even need to leave the hotel? We're visiting family in FL over April break and tacking on a few days to relax before driving home. We'll be at the Nick hotel for 2 nights, 3 days, and not planning on doing WDW Also, does anyone know if you are allowed to check in and use the pool but just not get your room before 4 pm, similar to the WDW resorts? Thanks!

We stayed at Nick hotel last July. We had 3 children with us - ages 5, 15, 16 and all of them loved staying there. You definitely can stay there for 3 days and find plenty to do without ever leaving the hotel. Be sure to sign up for the hotel shows you want to see early. We booked ours a day in advance and that worked well. We were allowed to use the pool before our room was ready which was very nice. There are 2 pool areas and both of them have plenty to do for young and old alike.
