Nicest thing anyone has done for you

I've seen a couple of post on here about people receiving free dinner form other diners "paying" for their meals with the dining plan. I thought that was really thoughtful, and if I have some extra TS or CS I plan on making someones day! ::MickeyMo

I've had several people offer to take a picture of our family, which I love because, I'm usually the one behind the camera and not in any family pictures....notice my sig.:rotfl2:

We've had several memorable nice things happen to us.

1 - On our honeymoon, Chip & Dale came out at MGM, and were instantly mobbed. My husband and I started to walk away when one of them (don't remember if it was C or D) motioned for us to wait. When the crowd died down, they walked us around the corner and let us take several pictures with them, all alone, in several funny poses.

2 - When our DS was 5, we were waiting for SpectroMagic, and there were people standing on a wall near the train station at MK. A man standing on the wall with his own family reached down and helped my son up there and held onto to him throughout the parade so he also could see from up high.

3 - Small, but still very kind - We got on a very crowded bus after a long day, and a lady pulled her son onto her lap and motioned so I could have the seat next to her. :wizard:

Feralpeg and tink sent my dgd special cards for her BD prior to our trip this Sept. She was so happy that Mickey and the princesses knew it was her Birthday and that she was coming to WDW to celebrate along with her Grandmother (Me) who was also having a birthday (actual day) while we were there. It brought such joy to me that they took the extra time to do this for her. Also the fairygodmailer on another thread that are mailing our Postcards to children prior to their trips. DGD received this as well and we paid it forward with 10 cards on that trip.

This wasn't done for me, but I did this, and I had to share

Last month, nearing the end of the DL trip for my friend and I, we realized we had some unopened fruit cups that my mom had given us for the trip, so I found a family that was headed back to their room from the pool area, and explained things, and they were happy to receive them.

Second thing, checkout day, I gave some unsuspecting couple a couple of guidebooks I had (Birnbaum's and Frommer's), since I wasn't going to be back for a while, and I thought someone could get more use out of them instead of lugging them back home, and having them collect dust.

There are my stories!!

Okay, let's see...
It all started with, on my last trip, the Skycap pushing my wheelchair made sure I got onto a DME bus that was leaving within seconds.... I boarded to find that a gentleman who HAD been in the front seat had moved to the back so I wouldn't have to hobble to the back of the bus
Much good stuff/interaction from Cast Members, but that's not what this thread is about, so: the off-site ECV I rented broke; Disney CMs made sure I got to the front of the park, then driven to the Polynesian for my Kona ADR after which I was meeting some DISers for a Wishes Cruise. The Polynesian loaned me a wheelchair for the night even though I wasn't staying there. Turns out we didn't cruise - horrible downpour. Well, one couple - Amy and Rich (who were right, by the way, I don't remember Amy's DisBoards name :guilty: ) were staying at the same resort as I was. Rich VERY kindly pushed me around in the wheelchair, including running for the Downtown Disney bus at the Poly so we could switch there.

If anybody knows this couple, PLEASE convey my gratitude!!!

Our first time there with our DD when she was 2. My inlaws had, had to see a show and I was worried about missing the parade. It was my first time at WDW, too.
Well, the parade was getting ready to start and we were at the back on the sidewalk and could not see anything. My MIL was a bit upset but not as upset as me. An older gentleman saw me trying to find a spot for my DD to sit and watch the parade. He said,"Bring that little girl up here, she needs to see the parade." What a nice guy. At that time they were passing out small American flags and DD got one because of that gentleman.

FF to three years ago. We took all our kids, DD then-17, DS-8, DS-5.
We were walking through Frontierland and my DS-8 was trying to eat his Mickey ice cream bar. A huge seagull came down trying to grab it and DS dropped it. A CM saw it asked if the bird tried to get it, and while I was cleaning it up, trying to calm down my son, the CM brought him a new one.
What a great CM! Thank you whoever you were....

A couple of small magical moments from our last trip....

DD (then 6) and I were sitting outside of POC waiting for the rest of our group. DD was almost done with her popcorn when she dropped it and the last of it spilled onto the ground. A CM who was sweeping up the area noticed this and came and swept up her spill and offered to go refill her popcorn bucket.

When we were checking into WL, a family was leaving and gave DD a HUGE mylar balloon that was too big for them to take home with them. She was thrilled. We enjoyed the balloon during our stay, and passed it on to someone else when we checked out.
