Greetings from the Disneyland Resort! My own personal nice news is that the Paint the Night parade runs through this weekend, giving me another chance to see it. And for the first time we’re staying at the Disneyland Hotel. So far we love it!

We’re on the way home after a fabulous weekend. Hopefully we didn’t leave anything at the hotel! But here’s a nice story about a boy’s Slinky Dog toy that didn’t want vacation to end too soon.

40 minute walk today - I took advantage of the early sunrise, and it was very pretty out!

And I love the theme!!! Both stories had me welling up with "mushy tears".

Have you heard about the "Share Your Ears" promotion? In honor of Mickey's 90th birthday, from November 4 through 17, Disney is making donations (up to a total of $2 million) to Make-A-Wish for social-media pictures of folks in their Mickey ears.

Disney granted Make-A-Wish's very first wish in 1981 and was up to 100,000 wishes granted by 2015. Apparently a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is one of the most requested wishes. Here's some nice information about various Disney-related wishes that have been granted.
