Any tips on how long we should plan for the attractions (I know everyone is different but just a ballpark)?

Niagara:
Maid of the Mist
Walkway
Journey behind the falls
Movie

Toronto:
Casa Loma
CN Tower
Hockey Hall of Fame...planning a full day since by husband and boys are HUGE Hockey fans...and one of the main reasons for this trip : )
Canada Wonderland

Also we already have our tickets for the stuff in Niagara (part of package)...should I also get the Toronto tickets online before we leave?

Thanks again!!

Hi hope this helps:
We spent a whole day in Niagara, but we also walked around Clifton Hill and got on theSkyWheel.

Casa Loma: it took us longer than the average because we're really into architecture, we spent the morning there. But It can be done in just a couple of hours.

CN Tower: The day we went to CN Tower we did one of those bus tours first and since it left us a block away, that was our first place we went. It took us about 4 hours for both things.

We went in October, not a lot of tourists, so there was never a line to get tickets anywhere.

Can't help you with the Falls, but for Toronto attractions:

CN Tower 2-3 hours max

Casa Loma - half day

Canada's Wonderland - plan to spend most of the day, if you have kids
which by your username I think you do, plan to spend
the whole day.

I don't know how long you will be staying in Toronto, but there is something called a City Pass, which in my opinion is a really great deal. For $53.10 you can get a pass for 5 attractions : Casa Loma, CN Tower, Science Centre, Royal Ontario Museum and the Toronto Zoo. For kids, the price is $35.10

I will post a link in case you are interested

Edited to add : Just wanted to let you know that Toronto is on day 32 of a massive garbage strike. This will NOT affect these destinations, but you might see a little more garbage downtown than usual

Ouch! Hope it ends soon.

We went to Niagara in July 2008, and we had hardly any wait time for anything. We bought the ticket booklet at the visitor's stand on the US side, and were pretty much able to walk onto everything. The longest we waited for anything was about 5 minutes for Journey Behind the Falls, but I think that was just because of people getting their sandals on.

I expected long lines, so I had us up and doing things by 10 am. I guess everyone else waited until 11 to go do stuff, since there were lines waiting for the attractions as we exited each one.
