My DDs and I are planning a little trip to Niagara Falls this summer, just a 2-night stay, and I have no idea where to stay!

I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to be able to see the falls from our hotel room, but I know that will probably cost more $$$.

Have to have an indoor pool at the hotel, too........

We're staying at Skyline Inn in August. I would suggest trying the Canadian board over the Budget to get more responses. Many Ontario people on the Canadian forum. ;)

I would always suggest staying on the Canadian side rather than the US side as there are so many more things to do. I personally like Four Points Falls View. If you're looking for something inexpensive I live in the area and I'm always getting notices for Niagara Falls Groupons.

Look into the Embassy Suites Fallsview. Great location. Wonderful view of the Falls from the two-room suites. Breakfast and evening reception included. I can highly recommend.

I highly recommend the Embassy or Hilton for falls views. The Hilton has lost some of its view due to the casino across the street. But if your looking to save some money I definitely recommend the Doubletree or Days Inn and Suites. Partial falls view at Doubletree is available but Days Inn and Suites has no falls view but should have breakfast and free parking included...Big plus for me....I hate paying for parking while staying at a hotel....but almost all hotels in NF charge parking fees.....

Embassy Suites is the only place we stay anymore. They often have specials. Sign up on their website for the emails to get the offers.

For a budget hotel with no view we are staying at Country Inn and Suites in June. It is rated #2 by tripadvisor for some category. We have a 1 bedroom suite, indoor pool, and free breakfast.

We booked the Hilton- 2 bdr with fallsview(inlaws going with us), just checked and it has gone up $400 since I booked. So glad I did it early. :)

We just came back from the Canadian side of the Falls. We stayed at the Skyline Inn. We didnt have a view of the Falls but it was a quick 5 min walk. The hotel was very reasonable and we loved, loved the waterpark!!! There are some great deals on a Waterpark package with room. We paid $159 I think........for 2 days at waterpark and hotel room. The kids loved the Disney movies they showed in the Courtyard at night......the hotel is connected to the waterpark, the Casino and lots of the fun things to do in Canada. The tourist street Lundy Lane??? is a quick walk. Have a fun trip.

We usually stay at Embassy Suites. free breakfast overlooking the falls, close to everything, nice sized rooms, great pool, managers reception. we've stayed just about everywhere in Niagara Falls but this is our favourite.

IMO, Hilton Fallsview is the best...bar none! Check web for deals. Also call the hotel directly. You won't be sorry. Indoor pool with a water slide.

Just so there's no confusion (for those planning a trip that have never been there before), the Lundy's Lane area is about a five minute drive from the Falls tourist area. I think this poster is referring to the touristy street called Clifton Hill. I wouldn't want anyone purchasing tickets to the Oh Canada Eh! dinner show (located on the far end of Lundy's Lane) thinking they can walk from their Fallsview hotel. ;)

We were able to pick up a Fallsview Waterpark package at the Skyline Inn (walking distance to the Falls) for $299 for TWO nights (June 27th and 28th). This includes waterpark passes for 4 people for three days. A great value when you figure that Fallsview Waterpark admission is $50 pp if purchasing one day passes.

We have also stayed (over the years) at Great Wolf Lodge, Country Inn & Suites, the Ramada on Lundy's Lane (which has now changed hands...maybe a Days Inn?), the Travelodge by the Falls, the Best Western Fireside (which I think is now a Quality Inn), the Quality Inn at the Falls (which was torn down to build the Skywheel).......hmmmmm, there's been alot of properties. I'm sure I've missed one or two as well!

We are going in August, staying one night at the Hilton and one night at GWL.

Have stayed here several times on my Canada trips great location at fair price.

We stayed at the Radisson on fallsview blvd a couple weeks ago and it was great. We didnt have a fallsview room, but the rate was $69 a night. Most of the hotels charge $20 a day for parking, so keep that in mind. You can always park at the casino for $5 (or free if you get a member card)
