Go Broncos!!!
This article in our local paper puts things in perspective in regards to the playoffs.
When compared to the death of a son, football is nothing.

As a diehard cheesehead and stock holder, this news was devastating. I followed the story from the moment he went missing to the players tweeting when they received the news to coach McCarthy's press conference. We love our football, don't get me wrong, but family always always ALWAYS comes first. Packers fans across the nation, including myself, were in tears when news broke. It's impossible to describe the player-fan relationship in GB, but we ALL feel the pain. We win together, we lose together, we celebrate together, we mourn together. Sunday is just a game. It's nowhere near as important to me anymore.
So... Some stories and rumors are starting to come out of Baton Rouge about why the LSU Tigers stunk it up on the fiend inside the SuperDome Monday night...
[insert tongue in cheek HERE]hahah nice catch! I didn't even notice that last night when I read it. Don't go making people mad now by picking on Bama!!!!
Nice story about that pitiful game. A Bama fan went into a Fleurty Girl store in the French Quarter and tried on a shirt in the dressing room. She dropped two or three tickets to the game and left without realizing. The owner of the store, Lauren, posted it on FB that whoever can identify the tickets can have them back. Not sure how they were distinguishable, but I guess they were. Almost an hour after the initial post, the girl found her way back to the store and was able to get her tickets. I'm so happy for her!!! If I had tickets to that game and I lost them, I'd have been BAWLING like a baby all over the city. It's so nice to have something NICE happen in our city. All we ever hear about is the 13th murder of the year last night. It gets old. There are some genuinely nice people here. Just wish there were more.
I remember that too...I was living in the area at the time. And even though Dungy was no longer the Bucs coach, he stayed very connected to the area. That's exactly the way it should be. It was a horrible thing to have happened.
I remember when Tony Dungy's son commited suicide around USF a few years ago. Even though he wasn't the coach of the Bucs anymore, the area still cared very much.

Got a feeling that either Giants or Denver are going ti pull off upset. Both teams are riding highs and one will keep up the momentum.
So hope its the Giants.

RAVENS Win. On to New England.
go pack go!!!
