next week trip booked july 11-14 weather looks bad!!

I am in Boca Raton (since Wednesday) and it has been sunny and hot! NO rain yet. We are driving to WDW on Monday morning. From what I understand, the worst will be Saturday.

wind gusts, they say, right now are around 30 here but still, we have not seen a drop even though there are flood watches and tornado watches here.

I am keeping good thoughts that this will blow away by Monday!

think and here is proof that, so far, it is not bad (and we are closer to the hurricane than Orlando!

Just wanted to say, I'm two hours south east of WDW and the weather here is fine. We had a little rain early this morning, but now it's just windy and cloudy. Not a bad day actually. The wind and clouds keep it from getting really hot.

We just got back and the first half of our trip we had rain every afternoon. We were usually at the pool. some days we swam in the rain (if no lightening) - other days we headed in for naps. To be honest the rain brought the temps down and the clouds made the parks more bearable. The last few days we had straight sun and 90 degrees at 8am made for some very hot days. We probably got more done on the cooler rainy days. The hurricane will be gone by monday so go and have fun.

Yes, the hurricane is no longer affecting Florida. Late Friday night we got some nasty rain and wind, but yesterday it was just a cloudy day. Today, it's very bright and sunny . There are isolated thunder storms in the forecast, but that's very typical for summer afternoons.
