Ok, Kids,

Have a great time. We love cruising! Unfortunately we have a few months before our cruise.

I gotta keep rockin', mama, I ain't lyin'
My hearts a beatin' rhythm and it's right on time
So be my guest, you've got nothin' to lose
Won't you let me take you on a sea cruise?

You lucky sonofagrumblemumblemanI'lltellyawhat

Have fun PeteyBoy....wheres the boat headin?

hopefully the first stop the boat makes is to the liquor store. then we are going to San Juan, St. Maarten and St Thomas. I hate cruising, but a friend of mine is going from Ohio, and I couldn't pass the opportunity up to see him, drink beer and play gin.

Looove St. Maarten. If you can swing it, take a catamaran over to St. Barths. It is amazing! I'm not a beachy person, but St. Barths has the feel of a tiny grecian island with mountains tumbling down into the emerald sea! It is breathtaking!

Have fun!

I shouldn't tell you this, but I went on a cruise with in-laws and we bought vodka, put it in a water bottle to take on board with us (you're not supposed to bring booze) and some lime juice. We made vodka gimlets all week. well, it was better than paying $9 for a glass of "the drink of the day!"

Wow.....you described the heck out of that!!!! What a great visual!!!:thumbsup2

Oh my....Im shocked!! You booze-smuggler!! I wouldn't have thought you had it in you:goodvibes Maybe PPix CAN roll in the dirt with the best of 'em;)

Next thing ya know, she'll be tellin us 'bout that time in Tijuana when she got into a back alley brawl with a gang of mexikids for the worm in the bottom of the tequila bottle:lmao: Luv Ya PPix!!!!

Pete, we've never been on a cruise, wife's got issues with things like small spaces(ship cabins) and after watching that stupid Titanic, she swears she wouldn't be able handle it...I told her "Im no Leonardo Dicaprio, and no offense baby.....I love you but ya aint no Kate Winslet!!!" She found no humor in that.
But...although I've been warned, and told not to......I figure if shes ON THE BOAT....it aint like she can get off, and I have started to make plans for our 20th anniversary. I figure she'll either hate me for doing something she told me not to do...OR she'll have to stay so drunk that we COULD ACTUALLY have fun like we did when we were kids (fumes from the excess aquanet hairspray mixed with galllons of alcohol is to blame for us falling in love in the 80s). Those were good times...or so Im told.

Have fun and dont fall over board, cuz I doubt they'd waste a life-ring on ya Pete!!! :lmao:

The cabin sizes don't bother me, but the telling you where and when to eat gets old....... that's why i like the fort so much. I tell people i'm going to the Fort for the weekend to sit in the woods, burn charcoal and drink beer. what better vacation can there be. other than drinkin someone elses beer. I wonder if the captain will let me bring the Gatorcart on the ship?

Hey Rog, careful with that whole booze + boat thing. It can backfire. Bring lots of dramamine! As for the cabins, they really aren't that cramped, especially if you get one with a balcony. At least make sure you have one with a window! I do have to say, that despite the ship being huge, I did feel a bit claustraphobic and trapped by the end of the trip. I would do it again, though. I really do think your wife would like it. It is all about relaxation and playing. Some advice, though....I wouldn't push it if she really is against it. Trapping her against her will in the middle of the Carribean might make her cranky. I'm thinking that may work against the whole "romantic 20th anniversary" thing.

BTW, what happens in Tijuana, stays in Tijuana. Sabe?

For some reason I can't get this song out of my head this afternoon. Which made me think of Gatordad's cruise .... hope he's having a good time. It is this week, isn't it? I'll just live vicariously thru him and keep humming along as I shivver here in the cold rain!

Of course this is the only part I know and/or have been singing:

So be my guest, you got nothin’ to lose, won’t you let me take you on a sea cruise?
Ooowee, ooowee baby, ooowee, ooowee baby,
Ooowee, ooowee baby! won’t you let me take you on a sea cruise?

so I had to google the rest:

Now old man rhythm is in my shoes, it’s no use sittin’ here singin’ the blues,
So be my guest, you got nothin’ to lose, won’t you let me take you on a sea cruise?
Ooowee, ooowee baby, ooowee, ooowee baby,
Ooowee, ooowee baby! won’t you let me take you on a sea cruise?

I feel like jumpin’ and honey won’t you join me please, yeah.
Well I don’t like beggin’ but now I’m gonna bend a knee, oh yeah.

Well I gotta get a-movin’ honey, I ain’t lyin’,
My heart is beating the rhythm and it’s right on time.
So be my guest, you got nothin’ to lose, won’t you let me take you on a sea cruise?
Ooowee, ooowee baby, ooowee, ooowee mama,
Ooowee, ooowee baby! won’t you let me take you on a sea cruise?

Well I gotta get-a-rockin’, get my hat off the rack,
I gotta boogie-woogie like a knot’s in my back,
So be my guest, you got nothin’ to lose, won’t you let me take you on a sea cruise?
Ooowee, ooowee baby, ooowee, ooowee baby,
Ooowee, ooowee baby! won’t you let me take you on a sea cruise?

I feel like jumpin’ and honey won’t you join me please, yeah.
Well I don’t like beggin’ but now I’m gonna bend a knee, oh yeah.

Ooowee, ooowee baby, ooowee, ooowee mama,
Ooowee, ooowee baby! won’t you let me take you on a sea cruise?

Won’t you let me take you on a sea cruise?
Won’t you let me take you on a sea cruise?
I’m goin’, I’m goin’, I’m goin’ on a sea sea cruise,
Let me take you on a sea cruise na na.
