Next week forecast

Right now it looks like you only need to worry about Thursday and Friday but that can change. It has been a very cold winter down here this year and this is really the only week that has been good since December.

Don't sweat it, it rains on a regular basis down there so it's hard to go and not see at least a LITTLE rain even in the non-rainy season. Pack those ponchos and good watertight shoes and go with it!

Next week forecast is all rain! No!!!! Are feb rains all day???? No!!!!

I feel your pain, as we'll be there as well. Really disheartening to check the forecast, especially after the gorgeous weather this week. Figures.

I'm leaving on Saturday too. Try not to worry too much yet - Florida forecasts tend to change pretty often. As someone else suggested, I'm going to bring my poncho, my waterproof shoes, and hope for the best!

After the winter we're having, next week's forecast for rain every day is very disheartening. We were so hoping for blue skies, some warmth and sun. Obviously, there is nothing we can do about it and fretting won't help, but . . . :sad2:

Before we left there was a lot of rain in the forecast too (Feb 11-17) and ultimately it rained one day. :)

We are heading down tomorrow. We will be there for 10 days and the first part of our trip is going to be rainy in the 80's and the next it is dropping to the 60's. I wouldn't worry to much they are only giving 30-40% chance of rain.

I feel a little disheartened too. I've been in rain before and had a good attitude. This year, with this awful winter, I just really need some sunshine :sad2:. I may not get on the plane to come home if I don't get some :goodvibes.

Hi! I'm in the next week crowd too!!! Miserable winter in Wisconsin and so want to see sunshine. Like someone else said, not a darn thing we can do to change it, but still. I keep checking Accuweather, Intellicast and Weather. I like Accuweather the best. They at least show sun with some clouds whereas the other ones show nothing but clouds. At least the temperatures are warm. The grass will be green. And I won't be at work.

I will be there as well. The forecast changes frequently. I'm trying to be optimistic that we will see some sunshine. We've had almost 2 feet of snow in the past week here, so I will take rain at Disney over that anytime.

Never forget my best day at Disney.
It rained all day we put on our ponchos and headed out barely any lines and we were the only ones on astro orbitor - best birthday ever

I'm going next week too ... Hoping it changes but if not its better then all the snow here and it's warm .. I've been to disney a bunch of times and never had rain except at night when were sleeping but any day in disney rain or shine is ok with me :)

Another one for next week. We still have about 6 inches of snow on the ground from last week's storm so I'm pretty happy as long as I don't see any snow on the ground.

More concerning is a couple of models show a massive east coast storm next weekend, when we are scheduled to return. As much as I would prefer getting stuck in Florida where it isn't snowing, getting stuck with 2 small children doesn't sound like a happy time. I'm hoping we'll get some sun peeking out from the clouds!

So the good news is we are all going to be there next week!! I was also worried about the weather but I'm from Seattle area so I decided even if it rains some /most of the time, at least it will be warm and I'll probably see sun sometime. It is disconcerting to see the forecast for all that rain but looking at the days individually, it seemed like it was only Saturday and Tuesday that had a real chance of being a rainy day.

The weather in Orlando is highly unpredictable this time of year. Any forecast you see now is likely to change by next week. Even then, it isn't likely to be incredibly accurate.

That said, it looks like most days next week are currently forecast to be partly to mostly cloudy with a 30% chance of rain. Highs are around 80 and lows in the low 60s. Doesn't sound too bad to me.

Seriously... if you checked enough weather sites you could probably find the weather you are hoping for. It changes from hour to hour usually. You can't actually tell until the day is currently happening.

Saturday and Sunday were supposed to be beautiful and we planned a beach day... well guess what? Now not sunny and 86 anymore. Right now.

Ya just never know!

I have written and said those words of encouragement so many times. There's just no reasoning with me right now :rotfl:. Too much winter has happened to me. I just need a lot of sunshine :goodvibes. I'm not devastated, but I'm still hoping that this unpredictable Orlando weather goes in the right direction :upsidedow.

We leave on Sun for our first trip to disney.

As long as there is no snow on the ground, i will be happy. I am tired of looking at mountains of snow. I will take rain and 70's over snow and 30's anyday of the week. And I think I would be ok being stuck in fl a couple extra days.

And we are also battling the stomach bug in my house so maybe some warmer weather is just what we need.
