There is a HUGE event coming June 5 & 6 in Springfield, MA. It is being advertised as a stamping event, but many of the vendors are scrapbooking type vendors. Linda, dlbwright, and I had talked about going previously and I talked to Loving the Mouse about it today. We are going to do June 5th.

Anyone else interested? :)

Lisa I'm checking the schedule. I'm thinking that is the quilt shop open house weekend that mom wants to go down to (same vendor that was at CKC) so I have to get with her and her sister before I can commit. Not to say I wouldn't be there in .5 secs. Stamps are my addiction.

This is the show where stores have bins and bins and bins of unmounted stamps for $1 or $2, or whatever. Can take a while to go through, but they have some great treasures ;)

Thanks for posting the correct link, Jennifer. I am so technie challenged.

I'll check with D. We aren't stampers (really...), but would be curious to see what else is at the show.

But, the big reason for coming would be to see and spend time with y'all! Let's see...got to see Lisa two times yesterday for a total of less than 10 seconds (!), never got to see Caroline, missed Jennifer, Holly, Buffy...., and so on!

We'll stay tuned and check our schedules! Maybe we could fill a van with TinkerBean and Shamrock, too...?

so the quilt shop thing is friday and saturday. friday i'll be working and even getting out at 1 would put us with only 3 hours to shop once I got over there so I'm thinking that means saturday mom and I wold be heading that way. Course this would all fall apart if she tells him to find a campground near by and all the men hang out there while the women shop.....:confused3 Since it's a straight shot up 93 for the sisters I'm thinking that I'll spend sat quilting. It's also pushing the beginning of haying season............. My life revolves around seasons arghhhhhhh. We'll have to see as time gets closer. Plus L's bday will be that following weekend and fishing derbys ae thrown in those weekends and mom is the offical photographer.

I'm in - Saturday or Sunday, doesn't matter, depending on the availability of either a room at the "Caroline Inn" or a room mate or two.

The "Caroline Inn" could be prevailed upon to open!! Geez, this means I have a few days to clean after my Memorial Day long weekend!! Yeh, I could do it!!!
You know, shopping with you guys can be detrimental to my wallet!!!

BTW - in googling the Big E for the stamping event, it also said there is a stamp/scrapbook event in Oct!!!

Yes, there is. But that one is the same organizer as the one I just went to here at the Altamont Fair Grounds. My gut feeling says the June event might be the bigger of the two.

June 5th is out for me. That's British By the Sea weekend.

I'm hoping to get my Mini there. Maybe I'll even win an award or something. :wizard:

I might be able to do the 6th, but it depends on if DH has to leave again. June is looking pretty busy for him.

OK, what is British by the Sea? It must have something to do with your car?
Truly- I can go either day -so, if the 6th works for more of you, then that's fine!

British By the Sea is one of the first car outings of the season. It's at Harkness Park in Waterford.

More than 350 vehicles are expected to be on display and competing for prizes in 32 classes. Such famous British Marques as MG, Triumph, Lotus, TVR, Rover, Morgan, Sunbeam, Austin Healey, Cooper, Rolls Royce and Jaguar will be on display. British trucks and motorcycles will also be included in the show.

OOPSI was wrong. It's Sunday June 6th.

if you go on the 5th you could come to my grand opening crop on the 5th ... make a weekend out of it! :D

I can go either day - and I'd love to see you, Buffy!

How far away is that crop?
