Next Epcot Country???

That can't be Canada, there were no igloos or moose anywhere in the pavillion. Besides, the CMs all speak English, not Canadian.

True...but that could just as easily be Minnesota. I still say the country is Alaska.

Nah, if it was Minnie-sohta there would be ice fish houses out front.

Clearly Canada is too controversial a country to add, forget I mentioned it. I also would like to see Spain or Brazil added for obvious reasons.

OH MAN. this is the first post i have ever had that has actually gone somewhere. Thanks everyone for their posts. I surprised everyone agreed with me. I thought i would get at least a couple of people saying that the WS was complete. Or that the outpost was great.....because it diffinately NOT

Absolutely Australia. Makes me homesick just thinking about it. Lots of great Aussie wines and beer. YUM. Must say though that Australia is a continent according to the Websters Dictionary and my old geography teacher.

aw, i like the outpost (though i totally agree with you that the world showcase is incomplete). it's hardly as exciting as the other countries but the mint chip ice cream there is soooo good and the man that carves wooden sculptures is also very cool.
i agree though that it's definately not a fun place to hang out for a long period of time like morrocco, japan, china, etc

I'd say

Greece - for the food, the buildings, some sort of Hercules themed ride?

I wanna see those South Pacific theme. I wanna see the hula dancers dance to every each islands. Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu...and of course we can't forget Hawaii!!

Caribbean would be nice too! I love to hear the steel drums!

Well, I kinda vote for Auz, Greece, or Russia.
The outpost area reminds me a lot of AK. And I have allways felt that this area was not done as well as the other places in the world... and wondered why? Was AK in the works even back when the countries were planned.
Also, I (fuzzy-ly) remember that I read some place that Russia was sugg'ed when Ecpot was being planed/dreamed by Walt and he niked it . The whole communist country thing... Please feel free to correct me if I totally mis remember that! I do remember when the Com. Leader was not allowed into Disneyland, but wheither it was a security thing in the 1960's or Walt not wanting it to happen... so maybe I confused the 2 things?
(Please don't flame me....I am old before my time(thank the kids) and can't get to WDW and depressed about it and my house is a mess.. and ...and... .... Thank you for understanding...)

egypt and greece and russia first come to mind due their rich history and architecture. i am casting a vote for brazil. the largest country in south america and think of the theme ride. we could be travelng through the amazon jungle

i totally agree. i was always annoyed that the outpost had so little compared to the other countries (of course again, must remember that each pavilion is sponsored/designed/etc by their home country, not WDW) but then when AK came into being i felt that made up for it a lot. the asia and africa section of that park are absolutely breathtaking.

A country in India. Everything about them and their culture is gorgeous. Egypt. I hope to go there but I doubt that will happen. :earsgirl:

Could you imagine if the Imagineers just went nuts and put in a "lost culture" like Atlantis?

Definitely India. I personally love Indian food and cannot find it anywhere in WDW. I would love to see an Indian pavilion with the Taj Mahal and indian dancers/music. :music:

Of the ones actually considered over the years - Russia. I had the pleasure of going there in 1997 and it's a fascinating country. Althoug, they did give us old bottles of Coke for breakfast! I hope that's not on the menu.

It would be nice to see South America, SE Asia or the South Pacific represented.
