Next best suites after HIFS?

We recently returned from a 7 night stay at the HIFS and enjoyed it thoroughly. The combination of the private bedroom, kid's theming, free breakfast, kitchenette, great attitude of the staff and great entertainment club rates helped us decide that this will be our hotel on our annual or bi-annual (one can hope) trips to WDW.
However, with the upcoming Nikolodeon renovations, there's been some speculation that the rates will increase.
Does anyone have any opinions on suite hotels that are just as nice as HIFS for a "value" price?
We like being able to put the kids to sleep at night and unwinding by watching TV. Therefore, we need a real suite with a completely closing door between bedrooms. Some places claim they have suites, but the rooms are separated by dividers, not doors.
We'd certainly be willing to stay at something more luxurious than HIFS if the price difference wasn't too huge. -But we wouldn't want anything that's at a "lower level" while vacationing. Does that make sense?

I would consider the Staybridge Suites on Palm Parkway north of dt disney intersection.

Entertainment card rate for a 2 bedroom unit is $99.50 on average.

2 brs, l king and 2 double, full kitchen, small lr, bkfst.

More room than the HI, but prollly not as many kid oriented activites or fun pools.

Thanks Herc, we'll have to check it out. It sounds like the suite might even be a bit larger since the 2nd BR fits 2 doubles.

I 2nd this. We just returned from a 9 night stay at StayBridge Lake Buena Vista. It was great and plenty of room! Any questions, please feel free to ask.
