News?: Whitney Houston on current WC!

I don't know if anyone else mentioned this, but I think it was noteworthy.
Last week, we did the "So You Think You Know Your Music?" game at the Promenade Lounge on board, and one of the songs was a Whitney Houston song, and the hostess mentioned she was coming on board on Aug. 10th!! She didn't mention in what capacity- guest or performer or both- but she seemed pretty excited about it! Maybe one of the current cruisers will be able to confirm or deny when they return.

No mention if Bobby Brown was coming along or not, but I just don't see him being the Mickey Mouse type...

Dave - I remember reading about that!

People said that Whitney was at first very friendly and just hanging out with folks, even participating in Karaoke! Then she allegedly got pretty drunky-wunky and made a scene! Bobby had to haul her away kickin' and screamin'!


Ah, celebrity life! Don't they all handle money and fame well?? NOT!

Other than random gossip or just lucky, how do you find out if someone special is sailing with you? I have heard here of Dream, Aaron Carter, etc. I know, just hang out here and you will learn eveerything you need to know!!!

If i remember correctly, President Carter and his family were on the Wonder for New Year's Eve, or around that time last year...

I was on the Wonder this past Feb. and while we were docked in Nassau, Kelly Ripa and her HOT hubby were on board. They just came on board for the afternoon to check things out, (her and Regis were at the Atlantis doing a "Spring Break" special week of shows) and they didn't stay.
It was fun to see a celebrity!
On that same cruise was Ebert and Roper doing their "movies at sea" seminar. There were cameras all over, and we had to sign releases before boarding to say they could use our image if caught on tape, but I never saw the two of them.

On The Pin Trading Cruise in May, we had Ricki Lake and her family. Her son said it was their fifth cruise on the Wonder!
She was just like any other Mom, except for the three nannies, lol.

We also heard from a crew member on our 8/3 cruise that Whitney was returning with her husband on the 10th. I believe she was coming on as a guest, not a performer.
