I agree chef Mickey's in particular was very underwhelming last time I was thereYes - I generally think Disney food is very good to great - but Hollywood and Vine and Chef Mickey's are the two restaurants that bring to mind dinner at Old Country Buffet. Now that our daughter is grown up I will not be going back for many many years. (And their are Disney Character buffets I like - Crystal Palace / Tusker House )
Anyone know what's going on at Jellyrolls? I'm hearing there's an emergency situation and Orange County K-9 unit has been sent in.
Saw it on Twitter no reports as to what happened so I'm guessing false alarm.Looks like a false alarm. Lasted about 30 minutes, people moved while police and K9 searched. Not sure if it was a bomb threat/suspicious package/etc but glad to hear it was nothing.
I can't help thinking that they could have fixed this if they put a bit more effort into it. Such as adjusting the size/depth of the splash pool, or changing the shape of the bows of the boats.
V&A rated very highly once again

Too bad that all the other restaurants in WDW have gone downhill so much. The only one that's highly rated is basically unaffordable for most visitors even if they could get a reservation!I agree chef Mickey's in particular was very underwhelming last time I was there
We rode pirates several times last week, and we got drenched in the front row, barely wet in the 3rd and 4th rows, but the bottom of the boat had a couple inches of water in it and the seats were wet. They took our favorite ride in the park and made it almost unbearable. We ended up switching our FPs for a couple of days because we didn't feel like Getting wet.
I don't know if they can do anything about the depth of the water. If it's too shallow, the boats will bottom out. But, Yeah, they should have spent the money to get some new (different shaped) boats in there.
Am curious to see what is going on. There are dancers from 16 different dance schools showing up on November 7. My granddaughter's group consists of 10 dancers; if each school provides that number, then there should be 160 dancers. She has a picture of her costume and it is definitely Christmas related. Supposedly, there are costume fittings and a rehearsal on Nov 7 and video taping of whatever is going on will be Nov 8 & 9. Perhaps it is something that they cut into the Christmas Parade broadcast. Oh yeah, after everything is over, they get to keep the costumes.According to this the Disneyland taping will be in December

Getting wet in the boats in Pirates didn't used to be a problem for most of change something during the renovations to make it worse.
