Because one of the top things about WDW is I don't have to drive a car. combine that with spending that money to save 20 minutes a day doesn't appeal to me at all.
Understood. It doesn't work for everybody. But getting from OKW to a dinner at AKL and back again when you have 8:45 p.m. reservations is almost impossible without a car. You can spend up to 1.5 hours taking a bus to Disney Springs, transferring buses, and doing that whole nonsense over again. Time is money. When you do the math it may mean more saved than spent...

We drive so we always have a vehicle. So far the absolute best thing about it is being able to drive to resort adrs. We ate at Cape May on Mother's Day and left OKW 15 minutes before our reservation, hoped in the truck, drove over, parked, and walked in in under 10 minutes. After dinner when everyone was stuffed and tired all we had in front of us was a 10 minute drive. That was way better than trying to get there via the bus routes.

I have a car when I am there, but I leave it sit. First, I like a libation or two, or ten Second, when I make my ressie's I am paying for transportation so I like to get my money's worth. Third, I like the busses. some of the neatest experiences I have had have been on a Dis bus.

But, and I say Big But- I would never use Disney Springs as a hub for any type of transportation. If I were at OKW, I would take the bus to AK then take an AK bus to AKL. Never go through DS. The transportation there, regardless of your means (car or bus) is terrible.

Morimoto Asia to open on September 30th

I'm excited, I was hoping to book a reservation in November. Now just need to wait for reservations to pop on the site.

On the car thing: I love getting on a plane and giving up driving for a week. I don't mind waiting on busses. That said, I may uber for some ADRs going forward. I may also uber to the airport on the way back.
