I reread my post from earlier and realize it sounds kind of dumb! Haha! I'm assuming it was DVC Poly because it was Tikiman but it came out wrong meaning did it affect any other resorts? Haha - posted too quickly!
The DVC rooms at the poly have been having some water issues and power issues.

I,m going out on a limb and saying it will be better than it was before. I like your posts and I hope you don,t take this the wrong but it is possible that because you have been to Disney so many times you could be a bit jaded. Which to me is actually something that is bound to happen to those with a ton of experience at Disney. I try to come at things on here from the perspective of a veteran and someone kind of new to Disney because they will have two very different views on what they see.

The way I read the quote was "sprucing it up" being to make things look newer, rather than to let something run down. Regardless of whether you like what it is destined to be or not, Disney is "sprucing it up" in those terms. The new bridges and walkways, added parking, the rails (even if just for hanging baskets). The new buildings like the Hangar and Boathouse will look nicer than the old buildings that were there in their place.

I think you hit the nail on the head about it perhaps being Yuppieville, but to me it always was. I'm not a yuppie by any means, but I can visit yuppieville and have a good time.

Some of the stuff in the Rebel Hangar looks cool, but think about what Disney could do if they full on committed to a Star Wars themed anything outside of Star Tours. So much untapped potential and just not wanting to risk the investment on something that is almost a guarantee to succeed.

Well, isn't that what's going on right now at DHS?
