Liberty Tree Tavern is going down for a nearly 5 month refurb. From July 6th to Nov. 20th it will be down.

Rumor is they will be redoing the kitchen so that they can open the Adventureland veranda as a new dining location.

Guess What? I got a fever and the only prescription is more Frozen

Dream along with Mickey will not be performed from April 13th- May 20th. This is hub related and a refurb of the stage will take place.

I bet they burn that sucker apart in record time...

Off duty cms will probably be allowed to show up and cut themselves...Disney keeps the scrap - of course ;)

Will not be missed, no doubt.

Still kinda surprised they aren't re-cycling it somewhere - in front of Fantasmic, at AoA (lotsa sculpture there), make it an Eisner Memorial (sarcasm), etc.

There have to be a million logistical reasons why they aren't, including it wasn't designed to be dismantled and moved I guess.

It was designed as a "dedicated" eyesore...in commemoration of a silly "celebration"

I'm sure 5 years went into to researching if they could repurpose it into a princess store...but no dice

And I guess the market research on the "You Can Own a Piece of the Hat!" Campaign came up goose eggs, as well...

I kind of liked the hat *ducks behind the couch* but NOT in the location it was placed. I still wonder if they'll find a new place for it. I thought it was a better icon for the park than the earful tower, especially since you probably can't even see it anymore from in the park.

All signs point to the hat being demolished as it was meant to be temporary and not moved. I think if we were to see it moved permits and work on a new location would have already begun. Some rumors say the earful hat will be moved to a location where you can see it better.
