WDWNT.com has some new rumors regarding a pixar expansion. Most of it has already been rumored before but the dancing buzz attraction is a new rumor. They say the RC Racer that is in Hong Kong and Paris is the only ride thats being cloned to come to DHS. Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is being rethemed to Woody's roundup which has also already been rumored and finally the ride that is replacing luigis flying tires at DCA will get a retheme to Buzz supposedly.

I've said it before...I'm all for more kiddie rides at DHS - as long as it doesn't mean that that's the ONLY thing coming!

I thought one of the responses to the article was funny. The person said the rides sounded horrible and they hoped Cars Land came instead.

2 of the rides mentioned are (or will be) clones of Cars Land rides.

I agree. I also wish we would get a cars ride not all toy story they should rename it to toy story land then not Pixar place. Instead of the re theming I'd be happy with just a straight clone.

Kiddie rides were pretty much a given since that's what DHS Needs most. Star Wars when it comes will probably bring the next e ticket, whenever it does come that is.

I think it would be great if they could build a ride that could be rethemed on the fly. It would probably have to be a motion/video sim, but it'd be cool if they could work it up for the current or most recent Pixar film, or even rotate through their catalog. With today's technology it'd be a great way to assure current properties are serviced quickly.

IF that were true, all told the number of rumored rides for the Pixar area alone would be:
1. Expanded and plussed Toy Story Midway Mania ride with added ride capacity and seasonally themed screens that change out through the year.
2. Carousel themed to toy story
3. Toy Story Playland but with the RC Racer, Mater's Junkyard Jamboree ride themed to Woody's roundup, and a trackless ride system themed to Buzz Lightyear
4. Monsters Inc. scream coaster

Add to this the supposed indoor Cars Land area and this side of the park would be fleshed out really nice. As an FYI, all of these rumors I have gathered from various sources on other fan sites (wdwmagic, wdwnt) and Jim Hill podcasts (as well as his Twitter Feed).

Which is a shame. Great concept in my fantasy of it.

I think it's clear they are keeping cars as a draw for California specifically...which is thematically correct...

And toy story in Florida.

Remember... Sequel on deck.

I don't have too much of a problem with that...toy story can be augmented over time and fits girls and boys pretty well.

If the rumors are true and they are gonna do this...especially as a Star Wars precursor...then they're only gonna get one shot as this...

This is how MGM will be for along time.

Toy story is a good tact knowing the circumstances.

I agree but just wish they would work in some other films into pixar place, bugs life, monsters inc., incredibles, Ratatouille. But at this point something is better than nothing.
