Oh - and I just caught up on the PP that was ranting about the Christmas party. I get disliking the hard ticket events - I think they suck - but I can't imagine that it would make it better to spend my hard ticket event repeatedly posting on the DIS...I post here to enjoy a piece of Disney when I am home. When I'm at Disney, I don't really bother to post unless I'm in the room.

I just caught up too...and it seems like checking out the DIS before the trip instead of just venting here afterward could have helped her avoid most of the frustration... (1) Wednesday's are always a really busy day during party season and (2) there were 3 hours (4-7) to get the party band...even if you want to waste party time at BOG (maybe the only time they could get in) you weren't there that whole time (3) band locations are posted all over the place on here

On another note - the Pandora updates look amazing...really looking forward to AK in 2017

Report from someone on wdwmagic. They got a call that club villain was not happening in March due to entertainment changes. January and February are still supposed to happen. Looks like maybe the club villain was a bust?

There isn't much about Force Awakens that would surprise me. I already know people, like my step-father, who have bought tickets for 3 separate showings even into 2016. He loves Star Wars but wouldn't be considered a fanatic. So, if "regular" people are that gungho, imagine what the huge "fanatical" fanbase is doing. With the advertising for it, I don't know if there will be anyone left on the planet who doesn't know that a new Star Wars movie is coming out. The last sentence is a bit exaggerated, but you know what I mean.

I consider myself a fanatic. I only have 2 prebought tickets. The first time avaialble and an Imax showing 2 hours away for that saturday. But I know I will see it at least one more time with my family over the holidays, and probably once or twice more by myself.

I can assume you left out "If it doesn't stink". Not that I think it will, but let's not forget the previous 3 movies.

I bought the 13 tickets for Sunday the 20th - us and two other families. If it's really good, just might go and see it again. The worst part will be the four days of internet lockdown where I can't go on-line after it comes out but before I see it.

Good, I felt like the price was crazy but most of those characters don't appear anywhere else, was not looking forward to saying no.

No pizzafari is still there it just reopened from refurb. Tiffins will go behind it.

It said 2016. Any ideas when in 2016? Maybe "Spring", which would probably really be May or June?

I really hope that the new Star Wars movie is at least decent. It'll be hard for it to live up to all of the hype that I see. I almost caught up in it too though but I was talked off the ledge when I wanted to buy tickets to see it while on vacation. I was reminded logically that I could see it any time and didn't need to spend limited vacation time to do so. But still...

I'm thinking that it will beat Titanic but won't catch Avatar.

I thought that this flex theater was going to be used for band & choir competitions and other private events and the Villian thing was just a "filler" for the times when it isn't being used.

Well the theater is definitely for temporary things nothing long term but it is iterating if club villain will only last two months especially if it's because it didn't sell well.

I saw this bit of information on this over at the OTPN website concerning when this restaurant, the night safaris, and other entertainment offerings are supposed to be opening:

"The restaurant’s opening in spring 2016 will align with the debut of Rivers of Light, a new projection show, the extension of operating hours for Kilimanjaro Safaris, and other after-dark experiences."

This all makes sense logically - whenever they open Rivers of Lights in the spring, they will also have to be ready with the other night offerings. (Not so much the restaurant, but all the other things listed.) The idea is of course to extend park hours, and a single offering (RoL) won't necessarily be enough for that.

I especially wonder how they will handle the crowds for RoL. Obviously it will be the big draw there until Pandora opens. Will they do two shows a night for a while? Probably not, since once we get into summer they won't be able to run the show until 9 PM. How do they accommodate the fact that everyone in the park will want to be seeing this show. Do they make it FP+ only??
