It's big. It's got some of the most cynical members of the fan community excited. Nothing firm from any of the really good sources but we do know that they're impressed and excited. Maybe still just a little cynical too...Any details or just vague tid bits as of now?

This is going to be great.
I hope so.... Sandy and I go twice per year, and we always go to HS. But right now? I would be in favor of WDW CLOSING THE PARK FOR A YEAR, going whole hog, and re-launching it. I'm most saddened by "One Man's Dream" - thankfully, we will be going to the Disney Family Museum in SF in August.... probably the TRUE repository of Walt's life. A part of me wishes they would take one of those naked EPCOT buildings, and MOVE "One Man's Dream"..... EPCOT, even the way it ended up, WAS one of Walt's last dreams....
Yeah, DHS is probably going to be a bit of a nightmare for the next 3 years+. After that it should be a great place to visit. Parking and infrastructure improvements are on the docket, and upgrades all around the park. Some new rides would be ideal.I hope so.... Sandy and I go twice per year, and we always go to HS. I mean if they're throwing that much money at it it HAS to be spectacular. I'm expecting them to gut much of the area for star wars completely but that could be unrealisticIt's big. From what I've seen a large chunk of the left side of the park is going to be effected by the Star Wars stuff, but all of that could change so it's hard to say for sure. I think we can look at what DCA got for comparison. A completely enhanced and reworked land, and a brand new land with multiple new attractions.I mean if they're throwing that much money at it it HAS to be spectacular. If nothing gets announced at D23, not even a tease, then I'll just keep being excited because I know something is still in the pipeline. Specifics don't matter a ton to me as long as I know something is happening. The meltdowns if nothing is announced at D23 lol ... No, but seriously, there's no doubt that something big is going on at DHS. I'll try to remain cautious with all the rumors, anyways.
They have said they can't really say much more. Many don't know a lot of details on types of attractions or what exactly will be done. With that said finally something will be done.Any details or just vague tid bits as of now?
Now I wouldn't expect entire rebranding Pixar and Star Wars announcements at D23. Based on what's been said it might very well be a mention of park redo and Pixar announcement. I haven't seen many say Star Wars will be announced. We should at least find out something at D23 we just don't know what. The meltdowns if nothing is announced at D23 lol ... Another rumor out that Disney Quest will close in the spring of 2016. This lines up with the rumors of it closing for NBA experience.
Annual pass sales for Disney Quest conclude today.
It's very likely it will be. DisneyQuest is very outdated and it would be probably costly for upgrades. Having the NBA sponsorship will help Disney spend a little bit of money.I really hope that is not the case. Almost every night I love going there. Not to mention I want to take my Nephew more often to WDW and I know he will love it.
Because they have the NBA experience ready to come in. I also don't think it is as popular as it once was. It needs to be updated or closed.Uhhggg. Why close it. There are always a ton of people in it and we go during the off-season.
Probably the best any of us could have dreamedOk here's some things on the budget.
It's under 4 billion
No new hotels
No monorail expansion
New DHS
Small additions to Epcot and MK
Please, refurb not going away? One of my all time must do stops.Martin also says the One Man's Dream could be closing in July as well...
