It doesn't look like the concrete was damaged, at least I hope it wasn't! That would require extensive downtime. Still, the flashing and other things (I don't really know what they are) that are at the bottom sides of the track are messed up so I wouldn't count on service for a little while anyway. What a costly mistake!

I have the same hopes but one month earlier.. (May 28 - Jun 12)… a long shot for some but I believe in Disney magic lol

Maybe I'm being dumb, but what kind of vehicle would possibly be tall enough to strike up there? A cruise ship?

I read there was something sticking out of the top, so the vehicle itself didn't hit.

The site I saw had pictures of what looked like a garbage or recycling truck with a large metal piece sticking out of the top of it stopped down the street from this area. Supposedly that truck (they said construction truck?) hit it.
