That's funny - I wish I had come to this realization a little sooner! But I'm still mildly optimistic that I can figure it out...maybe...we were at the 40th Celebration almost by accident. We weren't as Disney-savvy and we didn't fully realize our last day was the anniversary. Anyway, we had a late evening flight and had just planned a morning at the pool but instead we extended our park tickets and went into MK for the morning - very fun!

“Disney After Hours BOO BASH” will take place on select nights, Aug. 10 – Oct. 31, from 9 p.m. to midnight*. Spooky festivities will include Halloween-themed cavalcades, character sightings throughout the park, special performances by the Cadaver Dans, décor, lighting, music, treat stops with plenty of candy and so much more!

Tickets will go on sale next month, with an early purchase window available to guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Click here for more information and stay tuned for more details to come.

Curious to see what the pricing will be since no parade, fireworks or special character meets (at least not announced as of yet). If not too expensive we will probably purchase.

But if other park have some form of after hours in October, I'd rather pay to stay late at AK or DHS over MK if there's no parade, etc. We will see!

This is nice. I never did MNSSH at DL (my home park) but my friends who went really enjoyed it. I’ll be interested to see the pricing since it will be happening during my stay.

Yeah, it seems like they don't want this offering confused with MNSSHP as people may expect what they have gotten in the past. I do think MNSSHP will return at some point. On the plus side, MK doesn't have to close at 6 several nights a week for this.

I just got the go ahead to get tickets when they come out… We have never been to Not So Scary, only Villains Nights and Very Merry Christmas. Kind of excited for this. I have my Haunted Mansion Tightrope Walker Girl costume from last year I can wear!

wah wah wahhhhhh. Sounds like a good time but depending on price point, it's just not worth it to me without fireworks and the rare meet and greets. Plenty of time for more info to come, but imagine if FOR SOME CRAZY REASON fireworks come back after July 4th, then the people who bought tickets to this event still don't get them? Or would Disney add them in? Seems like the plans would be set in stone going forward but the whole pandemic is so fluid and changing that they would have to be open to changes right?

We're there the first week for a small family reunion trip and will hopefully grab tickets.

I would image MOST nights. The reason in the past for it been every night was reg guest got mad that THEY didn't get to stay in park till 11:00/ midnight and couldn't see fireworks. Neither of those are a issue since park closes early, no parade, no fireworks now.

I’m excited that they have returned with some party but we have little kids and unfortunately a party starting at 9pm will not work. MNSSHP previously started at 7pm with a 4pm entry which was great. Boo!
