Are you in the UK? I talked with some 40-50 year olds a few weeks ago in the UK, and they thought they would be receiving it soon. Hope you get it soon. Getting my second one tomorrow, and it feels like a big relief. Can't wait for my 15 year old son to be able to get it.
Yeah, UK-based, so haven't had much Disney in my life since January 2020, desperate to both get my vaccine and get on a Disney cruise now :)

There are no WDW alligator wranglers. Alligators are a protected animal and can only be removed by licensed professionals if they fit the nuisance criteria. There are alligators everywhere in Florida, including Disney which is in a swamp area. They rarely approach people who are not in/very near the body of water in which they live. I’ve kayaked past alligators about ten feet away many times, no big deal. Once one swam a few feet from me. Just stay out of the water, away from the bank, and don’t throw food into the water/onto the shore.
I have read that WDW employs (maybe contracts with) people to capture and relocate gators above a certain size found near guest areas of WDW. That's who I was referring to! A gator the size of the one in your photo wouldn't be allowed to remain in Crescent Lake, right? I grew up in Louisiana where gators were common, but now I live in Texas, where we sometimes call those licensed professionals who remove gators "alligator wranglers."

WDW has a kill on sight alligator permit for from FWC. They have killed nearly 300 in the past 10 years. They constantly have people patrolling the grounds. It’s one of the few blanket kill permits for gators, though Florida does have gator hunting season and gives out several thousand take permits each season. They do not relocate anymore. That practice ended statewide several years ago.

Quick question: when they reach capacity can you still hop between the two parks once you're in? Like if I'm in Islands of Adventure, can I still go over to Universal Studios Florida even if capacity is reached?
The site states that hopping from park to park may not be available if either park is at capacity. We were there once on a full capacity day/time and they were still running HE, so I wonder if they just close the front gates to people coming in and out?

Hmmmm, good to know- thank you! We're doing a weekday so hope that helps... 🤞

Disneyland Paris is still closed (although France will reopen restaurants and shopping in Mid May!) but as of this weekend Hotel New Port Bay has opened in the weekends as a vaccination center :D The French can finally queue at Disneyland Paris again ;-)

DLP Welcome made a video

I was at Islands of Adventure yesterday when they hit capacity. There is a bypass walk way in Seuss Landing that was open. It allowed us to walk to Universal Studios in a backstage area without having to exit the park. When we got to Universal Studios, the walk way back to Islands was not operating at that time. However, later in the day I did see where it was open. The Studios walk way is down the side street of Despicable Me. If these bypasses are open, it is going to be much quicker than riding Hogwart's Express, even if you have Universal Express. When I left Universal Studios, I did see two separate signs for re-entry. There was a sign for Universal Hotel Guests and then there was a specific re-entry sign. Not sure if they hold people at the gate or not though if capacity has been reached.
