Good for more hours, but Epcot is the last park I want to be at this summer. It’s just not very good right now. I want to see the other parks after dark this summer.
I mentioned it in another thread, but I guess I can mention it here too. I'm glad to see they're showing wait times for Pirates, Splash and Space again. They hadn't been for a few days.Morning Everyone!
WAIT TIMES 4/23/21
PS - I had so much fun with all of you yesterday!!! You guys are great!!!![]()
They were bought out several years ago by a venture capital firm. The expansion was part of the purchase agreement. Being from Chicago I am okay with it as long as they maintain the qualityAs a fan of Portillo's, it's great to see them doing well enough to expand to yet another location around the country, and I wish them success in Orlando, but at the same time, there's still part of me that (irrationally) misses when it was a only a "local thing."![]()
Had a few Schlotzky’s in the Chicago area a few years ago. Didn’t catch on. Weird how that worksI know what you mean. Here it's Alamo Drafthouse, Chuy's, and Schlotzky's.
They expanded to Oregon in the late 90s when I lived there. They also didn't catch on. I was happy to see them when I moved to Austin!Had a few Schlotzky’s in the Chicago area a few years ago. Didn’t catch on. Weird how that works
Could be in anticipation of opening the new nightime show. From a distancing perspective EPCOT makes the most sense to be first to do soGood for more hours, but Epcot is the last park I want to be at this summer. It’s just not very good right now. Umm, where's your "normal path"? I see you live locally, so hopefully this isn't one that WDW's gator wranglers missed when it was smaller!Gatorland shares safety tips as 2021 alligator breeding season begins
Yep, they are more aggressive this time of year. I was just walking along my normal path and this one was "cooling off".

Interesting that you'd have to book the theatre shows, I was expecting the capacity to be enough to fill the Walt Disney Theatre twice (the two dining seatings) with social distancing in mind.
Considering all over 18s should have been offered their first vaccine by the end of July, it makes sense why they moved the itineraries around. However, if all over 18s haven't been allowed to receive both vaccines by their sail date (because they haven't been offered it yet) I'm wondering if they can exclude them from sailing, or if a negative test will be offered as an alternative. I'm in my early 20s, and have no idea when I will be allowed to be fully vaccinated, so my fingers are very crossed it will be before the cruise dates I'm hoping to book for![]()

Yup. North Austin suburbs.Still in Austin?
I wish I could Love this five times with an exclamation point! ( Well, I guess I just kind of did.) My CM daughter who is a QS leader in a park told me just last week that they needed more people and that all the CM had been called back in her area. She was hoping more hiring from outside would start soon. This was a major hold up in opening more QS dining. So happy!
