I dunno...$55 is $55, and I don’t have to sit on hold for hours to request it. Since we can’t get to the parks anyway, at least until the Canada/US border reopens, I’ll take the minuscule token gesture gladly.

Been trying to decide between WDW or a Japan trip with a few days in TDR next spring. It looks like the big expansion to TDS will be a while longer, but the BatB expansion might just make the decision for my wife. We missed the Soarin opening by days last year too, so...

Pretty sure this was always planned as a live action series. Based on the recent cast/crew news I'm getting very excited about this! It looks like they'll be taking the 'Lawyer' She-Hulk edgy comedy approach ... or at least I really hope so.
Kat Corio (director) did a great job directing some of the socially relevant (sort-of) Always Sunny episodes like 'Boggs: Ladies Reboot' and 'Time's Up'. They've mentioned Jessica Gao is heading the writers room ... looks like she was a story editor for Rick&Morty, and more importantly she's credited as the lead writer on PICKLE RICK.
I like Maslany as Jennifer Walters, but curious to see if there's going to be a ton of CG work. Jen prefers to stay in her 'hulk' form way more than Banner does. Does this mean we're going to see a CG enhanced Maslany most of the time?

Following up on this, it was actually a significant refurb, White Lightning now has the first GCI steel track (albeit not on the entire ride). This is GCI’s response to RMC’s successful IBOX track, so potentially huge for the industry. Fun Spot’s White Lightning has previously been used as a test subject for GCI to try out new products.

Anyone else see this? Ability to order Food "to go" from Table Service locations bia the app? Sort of a good idea if you want something specific and still nervous about eating inside - but also feels like an expensive option as part of cost of table service is the environment (at least some (BoG, Sci Fi, etc)

I like it .. and I don't. Was neat and immersive that this merch was exclusive to SWGE .. but I don't BLAME them for wanting to push this merch to people outside the park .. they are probably overloaded with it considering SWGE was only fully open for a few months before all "this".
I'll choose to believe that I still have to travel all the way to Batuu to get this stuff for may family.

Not surprising, How often are those closed due to cold weather in the winter anyway? So just a smart cost savings measure in my opinion. Hardly anyone going to the parks, no sense opening up a waterpark that maybe a few hundred guests may show up on a warm day in January.
But, on the bright side, this is a sign they are hoping to start a return to "normal" for the Spring Break crowds.

doesn't bother me AS much if just for outside the park (so Disney Springs, et)- I think if there is the same stuff in Batuu all over DHS it would ruin the immersion more.

I don’t know. It’s like the HP Merch at UO. People will still go to Olivanders to get their wand for the experience and allure of that store, even though you can buy the same wands in every store in the park (and even in the store at MCO). Same with all robes and other HP merch. It’ll be the same for SW merch. If people are die hards, they will go into the land to get it to experience the attraction of getting it there. But if Disney can make a few extra bucks to people buying the stuff in HS stores or DS stores, more power to em.
