News Round Up 2016

Best vacation investment I made was buying a 20,000mAh battery pack. I never charged the battery pack at all during my week long vacation and used it every day in the parks. it cost me like $45 on Amazon.

We do have a good, fast battery pack. However, I am reluctant to use it unless necessary. DH usually runs his phone pretty low, so I try to save it for him. I am usually good with mine, but it is starting to have battery problems since it's old. We don't use it for pictures, as we have a nice, new, incredibly heavy DSLR. I was listening to the podcast on Tuesday during Lights/Motor/Action at DHS waiting for anniversary announcements and almost drained my battery:sad2:

The battery pack I got has two USB ports so you could charge two phones at once.

I have an external charger from our last trip, but I'd like a newer/better one. Do you know which one you got? My phone is older and the battery drains quicker than I'd like, too.

I have a big battery pack that I usually take on the road that works well. It's about the size of a deck of cards, a little big to haul around the parks. This trip, we got a new smaller unit, about the size of a thick ink marker. Never ended up using it as the regular battery was fine. Didn't turn on my wifi though and relied entirely on the cell network for data.

I don't have an Iphone so I can just change my battery. We always keep a fully charged extra battery so we can just swap it out.

I miss those days:( Now that I am fully drinking the Kool-Aid, Macbook Pro, Mac Air, and and iPhone, I miss the days of just buying a new replacement battery. However, the daily battery life has been much better on my Apple devices than the previous ones.

I'll agree here. My iPhone 6+ battery life has been great. I also use an iPad daily and a Mac mini.

Yeah - if you run into battery issues on vacation - buy a moonstone. I got mine for $30 on Amazon.

Can't say I'm aware of the exact location of this theater, but would you say this is linked to Star Wars?

Do you remember where the San Francisco facade was on Streets of America? It was sort of behind that. It was mostly used for special events, and then when Frozen Singalong first came it was in there before they moved it to the American Idol theater.

I'm impressed it's already getting the knockdown. I continue to like seeing the constant progress.

The progress is amazing. We were there just last week, and the theater was intact. So was a lot of SOA, but now that's coming down too:jumping3:

The premier theater demo is more encouraging than catastrophe canyon, in my opinion.

Tearing down something off stage, isn't a guarantee they'll build anything. Tearing down something in the middle of the park, it's more likely that the area will have to be made presentable.
