That makes me just a little sad. I loved that place when I was a kid...

If you've never seen the movie I encourage you to give it a shot! It's one of our favorites! I feel like it didn't get a lot of marketing (or maybe not very good marketing?) because the first time we watched it was on Disney channel...

Bolt was the first Disney movie that fell under the regime of John Lassiter when he took oversight of all Disney Animation. It was WILDLY reworked from it's original concept. Remember Disney was coming off a nadir in it's animation studios with the previous three releases being "Home on the Range", "Chicken Little" and "Meet the Robinsons" (and before that "Brother Bear" and "Treasure Planet") - easy to forget what a mess Disney Animation was in the mid-2000s. (Edit: I know these movies have their defenders, but c'mon on - best defense is really "they're not that bad".)

Anyways - I agree that Bolt is actually a pretty darn good movie - and the start of the rebound in Disney Animation. For those that don't think John Lassiter is important to Disney Animation - just look at that shift from those to Princess & The Frog and Tangled the next two years.

Stayed there a few years ago. DD (5 at the time?) loved it...us parents...not so much.

Wasn't it a Holiday Inn before becoming the Nickelodeon hotel?

Never stayed there. Always seemed to get very mixed reviews, with the negatives centered around the cleanliness (or lack thereof) of the property.

This is precisely why we disliked it. We've never stayed on property and always stay at timeshares, but we stayed here for a few nights before we could check in to our timeshare.

I think this chart reflects my feelings about these movies almost exactly. The only difference is that Wreck-it Ralph is probably my favorite Disney movie in recent years.

I don't think tianas needs to go at Disney springs but it should be somewhere at WDW. MK doesn't necessarily need more TS they just need to fix the ones they have.

Agree with MaxRebo. I'm surprised Disney hasn't added or re-themed one of their restaurants in New Orleans Square at DL with Tiana .

I am embarrassed to admit that I never realized Chicken Little is a Disney movie - and we OWN it! (In my defense, the kids usually watched it in the car...)

In hindsight, I wonder why these movies were rated so low - Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons, and Bolt are all faves of my boys. Maybe because there were no princesses? Now that I think about it, they are definitely more boy-friendly!

For me, Brother Bear was better than HotR and Chicken Little. I'm ashamed to say I've never seen Treasure Planet. And I think Meet the Robinsons was way better than Bolt. But hey, just my thoughts...
