News Round Up 2016

Does this work thru the Mickey wrist band thru the FP+ line? I am just wondering because what is stopping people making breakfast reservations to also go on the rides when its 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of a breakfast at BOG.
I believe those in this event have credentials such as a lanyard or wristband to signify that they are part of this event.

Disney is actually saving money by doing this. Marie demanded more money. Everyone knows how stuckup and demanding cats are. Meanwhile, Bolt is being paid in belly rubs.

I'm surprised they don't have Dumbo doing meet and greets. That guy works for peanuts.

I wish I could like your post twice :)

I would like to see them do this EMM at HS once the two new lands open.

Uh0h......Guardians of the Galaxy coming??

That was my immediate reaction but the article says that Merchandise didn't want Food and Beverage encroaching on their turf. While I have no way to know if that's true or not, I can totally see that being a thing.

When a company gets so big, internal departments end up competing with each other. Happens where I work all the time, and it blows my mind because at the end of the day we are all trying to achieve the same goal here.

But we all know how that goes...

TOT merchandise area is large and doesn't really ever seem to be moving a ton of stuff. Just my opinion of course, but, A bar seems like an interesting idea here. There is plenty of room to have both in the space there. Or.. how about that space above the giftshop on the balcony, can that space be used for a bar?

How about the corner where the old Fast Pass machines used to be...

I don't know if that balcony is actually functual. It was likely just built as part of the theming for the hotel so it might not have electrical and plumbing.

I believe it is since I think you can rent it out for private events.

Plus I think access would be an issue - entrance and exit would be along with the people in line for the ride. Maybe they utilize some of that big open space in front of the building,

News(?)

KennyThePirate's character locator is showing that Bolt is meeting in Hollywood Studios in the Great Movie Ride Courtyard. It was updated on 05/30.

Since we talk about characters leaving locations (Marie), I figured it's worthwhile to know when a new character appears.

Side question: I get when people get upset that characters they like are no longer meeting (Marie), and sometimes their departure is said to be due to budget cuts...but if other characters are popping up in different locations, isn't it a net gain/net loss of zero?

For example, Stitch used to meet in Tomorrowland, then he went away. Marie used to meet at the Main Street Flagpole, then she went away. Stitch now meets at the Main Street Flagpole, and Bolt is now at the Great Movie Ride Courtyard. That's still two characters, probably with the same "friend". I see how it can be a loss for Magic Kingdom, but if they are adding characters to other parks, isn't it break even? Maybe I'm not understanding fully?
Wait, Bolt is meeting? AWESOME! My little guy will go nuts when he sees "dog dog".
