News Flash, Spears cancels tonight's concert

Just heard on WGN radio, Britney hurt her knee last night so her Chicago area performance is cancelled. But hold your tickets, she said she will be back.

And, she said she is not going to do a 'suicide' in her next video. That's nice of her.

I took DD to see her in Atlanta a few years ago. Thankfully, she is no longer a fan of Britney. It was a good show though. I am sure she will have a lot of disappointed fans in Chicago.

I must be in the minority. I think Brittany is a very talented young woman. She is guided by her inexperience and probably gets some very bad advise from people wishing to exploit her talent so that they can make money (recoring contracts, manament company, etc). She certainly isn't the same girl that was on the Mickey Mouse Club so many years ago. I see all the near nakedness and sexuality not just from her, but from almost all of the performers in that age group. She has a large fan base, it seems that not too many of them are Disers, but I still see her as a great dancer and performer. I would love to see her live, the production must be amazing.

I agree, I also think she is trying to "be" the next Madonna which is fine if thats what she wants. I would love to see her perform but my 12 year old thinks shes nasty now and would much rather see Hillary Duff or Lindsey Lohan (who I would like to see as well!)

I was getting my hair cut today and the beautician next to mine was screaming on the phone about the cancellation. She had gotten tix to take her daughter(xmas gift) and her daughter was so upset about the cancellation that her mom was literally screaming into the phone to try and calm her daughter down. I guess better for the fans that Briteney hurt her knee in a practice, at least she will have to honor the tix and reschedule. If it had happened early/mid concert all would be out of luck and have only gotten a partial show for their big buck$.
I know that's of little consolation for you Dan....perhaps she'll give you a backstage pass for her make-up dateI think it's that former Mouskateer thing that attracts you, eh?
