Newport Bay or Sequoia Lodge

Hi all, long time no see!

We're in the midst of planning a trip for our DD's 5th birthday in January. Can't decide between NPB or SL. We could do Golden Forest for the same price as a standard room in NPB.

Any help very appreciated!!

We decided to stay at SL in a GF room over NPB. I made that decision by watching youtube videos and checking out the differences in the amenities. The clincher was the type of food served in the hotel restaurants - husband isn't a fan of seafood so if we end up having to spend time in the hotel with room service because of illness or whatever I know he'd prefer food from the SL hotel restaurant.

I personally love Sequoia Lodge in winter time. The hotel feels so suitable to that season. Newport Bay is great too and has just been renovated so it's really pretty again. But, because of the season and the extra's of a Golden Forest room, I'd pick Sequoia Lodge. Happy planning!
