Hey guys I've just come out of a 10 relationship and wondering has anyone on here ever gone to the world on there own.
Been thinking about the place a lot over the last few weeks and would love to get away for a few weeks.

I would love to go out and meet other people off here, people who love Disney as much as I do.

sorry to hear your news, I too would love to go by myself one day.
Ive heard stories from solo travellers and they seem to have a great time.
Ive read a few solo dining reports and in some restaurant they do things like eat at the bar or take a book to amuse themselves.
Theres a solo section on here, Ive not read it but may have a few ideas to help you.

If I didn't have family to travel with I'd go alone in a heart beat. Lots to do. Lots of opportunities to interact with other guests. Tours where you could meet and interact with others. Choosing what I want todo, when I want to do it. Relatively safe place. I say go for it. If you want to meet Internet community people consider Reunion which I think happens in December.

I haven't been on my own but when we went last year the DH got sick of the shops so I went to DTD on my own for a few hours on a few occasions.

I didn't mind it one bit people are so friendly.

I got the boat from POFQ and someone always turned round to talk to me.

Like other people have said I am sure there is plenty of info on the forums but I would go for it

I have not been to WDW on my own but as others have stated think that this would be a great idea.

As well as the UK board you may want to meet up with others.

Hi, when we were there, I got talking to a man who was travelling alone - he said he'd been to WDW many times solo. He said that he was meeting up with people throughout the holiday. I think he was doing an equivalent of the Dismeets and just hooking up with people for a drink/chat.

I would go on my own, people are friendlier over there and you would always find someone to pass the time of day with.

I always travel alone and love it if you have questions post them and I wil answer the only major drawback is room cost!

I used to go to Disney solo all the time. I prefer it since you are on your own schedule and can do whatever you want...when you want.

If you do go on your own, you can do what YOU want and not have to think about the other person. Id say go for it.
